The wife, daughter, and I are planning our first camping trip in our brand new TT. We have a Keystone RV Summerland 2670BHGS. We are taking it to a close by statepark that we have camped at before with my parent's pop-up. Is there any advice you can give to new TT owners? Is there any thing that we need to do. I know how to set it up and can't wait to do it, but any help would be great.

Spend a night in your driveway, "camping," and try not to go into the house. This will point out any "needs" before you get away from home.

Take pad and pen to write down any future needs or ideas for the unit.

Happy Camping!

We also have with us two "fur babies". A Basset Hound and a Chihuahua mix. Both are rescue dogs.

1. Take your time and enjoy yourself
2. Have a pen and paper so you can write down things you would like to have next trip
3. Enjoy

Just remember you can replinish almost anything you may have left behind from the local camp store (if one is available) or from local WALMART or LOWES stores close by.

Going to WALMART is neat these days since they also carry groceries now along with camping supplies...

Camping out in your CAMP BACKYARD is an excellent idea.

We have a local camp site (Westmoreland State Park) that is within 40 miles of our house that offers our style of camping and this is usually the first place we go to after making changes to something. This is our check-out things camp site. Can always come back to the house to pickup something.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Have a good time. Cook out.
Sit around a campfire, drinking coffee, or what ever...

Camping near home is a good idea for the first time out. Little doubt you'll find things you want to purchase for the trailer permanently. The more of the things you USE in the trailer that are JUST for the trailer the easier the future trips will be. Have a good time / Skip

Besides making sure all systems are functioning properly, just load up, go and enjoy. We stocked our rig like a second home so we always have everything we need. Happy Camping!!!
