They're all good, The 24's have 500gb Hard Drives and are smaller. Don't forget to take two BBC's along for each DVR. Needed for HD programming in non-SWM dish setup.
BBC
The B-Band Converter module is designed to allow DIRECTV receivers and DVRs to operate using legacy (non-SWiM) dishes like the AT9 and original Slimline dishes. Required for the following: HR20, H21, H23, HR21, HR22, H24 and HR24. Not required for HR23. H25 and HR34 receivers cannot be used with legacy dishes.

You should already have them and can take 'em along. Just don't forget 'em.

Not many people are old enough to know who he was. I don't know if this the person who told me this was correct, he pointed out a house on Asharoken Avenue, Asharoken , LI NY that was once owned by Goldberg.

If you have Directv at your home, it shouldn't take much more than $100 to get the same service on the road. Your $1000 + figures are making my stomache churn. IM me if you are curious how.

I am very interested in finding out how to do it for $100, perhaps you can post it on this thread so others can benefit. The $1,000 plus number you are referring to includes a dish that receives the HD channels and will automatically lock int all the satellites at the flick of a button in a few minutes.
Please let me know how to do this for $100

You CANNOT do what OP is trying to do for anywhere near $100. The equipment alone is $1,400 for openers.
DirecTV SD manual setup on a cheap mount, sure.

I know it would be impossible, maybe he failed to read that I don't want to get out a start pointed the dish a few times a day.I have health issues that require me to make frequent stops and I don't want to pull into some rest stop on the interstate a few times a day . to point a dish.
By the way I really wanted to try a portable set up because I may trade campers again in the near future and I hate to leave an almost new dish on the old one, but I have been convinced to roof mount it by forum members and the final factor is getting a good look at the size of this thing in person.
In the long run with the roof mount it will be nice to just pull into a rest stop, push one button to start my generator and another button to have the dish unpack and aim itself and be watching TV in 5 minutes
