If you drive 55-60 mph about 8 mpg...it will go down significantly if you drive faster and/or you drive like a teenager... ....Dennis

And it will get worse if you drive in the mountains, pull a vehicle or trailer, run into strong headwinds, and so on.

Just got back from a 4200 mile trip with a 32' Country Coach / 350 Cummins ISC, and my average for the trip was 10.27 imp.mpg or 8.5 us.mpg.
Cheers,

I had a 34 ft cayman with 5 speed ally and 300hp ISB and got a true 10 mpg driving 60-65 mph. pulling a 4000 lb toad would drop it to 9 mpg. If that is the engine you have it does get good milage in that size coach.

With the 300 hp, I would like to think 8.5 avg over 4-6,000 miles driving at 63...perhaps 10.0 ish at 55. Not knowing the year but I'm guessing yourr HP/wt ratio is fairly favorable.

Wow, at 8 mpg @ $4 gas, a 1000 mile trip (200 round trip) would cost $1,000 in gas alone!
Sorry, I know there are a lot of gripes, but this is getting ridiculous.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.
