Been lurking for a month or two but since we finally took the plunge and bought an old conversion van, I thought I would intoroduce us.

We are myself, the DH, Blanche (our van) Kimmie and Lady (our two boarder collies).

We have been tenters and popup campers for years but just purchased an 89 Dodge Ram 250 conversion (think by Holidaire). Just getting her cleaned up and fixed up for the coming season. Perviously we camped in a combi-camp pop up (for sale if anyone interested).

We are planning on going to Northern Ontario and eastern Canada this year and hopefully go south some next year. We hope to boon dock whenever possible but not pavement boondocking.

I don't think any of us here are in a position to offer much advice as far as RVing but we have done the Canadian maritimes a few times now and can advise some good places there, if anyone is interested.

I am sure we will have lots of questions as we go along but for now Hello All.

Where are you going in eastern Canada?

In my mind that's very broad and includes Ontario through Newfoundland and Labrador. There's always more to see in those 6 provinces.

& I, I took the road less travelled by.

Sounds like your looking forward to your trip the Conver vans are a great way to travel. The DW and I are heading for the Maritimes this year as well. We did all around Niagra Falls last year. We will start our touring after we get past that area. We are planning to stay closer to #1 hwy,as we work our way to the coast. Are planning to leave Manitoba in early July and stay in the Maritimes until September then cross into the USA and do the eastern coast down, then cross over to Texas again for the winter. If you have any places that you think are really interesting to see let us know.
