Bought some tomato plants with tomatos already on them. and a variety of what is now called heirloom varities, or real tomatoes.
Several Rutgers plants. Sited them where they will get some filtered sunshine from large trees during the evening. Would prefer full sun all day but it has been dry and real hot the last few years.
We'll be home balance of summer it looks like and we should have fresh tomatoes and peppers, and lettuce and green onions all summer. The big tomato plants will be ready to pick by end of May or before.
Need some way to make a raised bed really, so I don't have to bend legs or back too much but not spend hundreds of dollars doing it.
