We up here in the Northwest finally got hit with the extreme heat the rest of you guys have been suffering through. It hit 104 Saturday here in Grants Pass Or but having our RV fueled and ready made escape easy. Two hours west to the coast and its 69 degrees and so beautiful and comfortable! Just another reason to love RVing. Bob

I am with the OP on this one. Much rather be 69 degrees and dreary than 104 and sunny!

Bob b,
We must have been fairly close. We were in Grants Pass a few days ago and migrated a bit north to Seven Feathers Resort where, it too hit 100 on Saturday. Sunday was only a degree or two less. But, we made the trip today to Winchester Bay RV Resort where, it was overcast and around 69 or 70, YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!

We left San Diego two weeks ago and wanted cooler weather and ran smack into heat in Bishop, (kind of expected). But, the intent was to climb out of the heat box as we went further north, AIN'T HAPPENING! The heat followed us all the way to Grants Pass and Canyonville.

But, now, we're smiling. I can always grab a wind breaker or, even a jacket if needed but, sweating, I'm tired of that.
