I have a Coachmen 2010 class C RV. It has a Chevy base. On the side of the RV near the door is a sign that says Workhorse. I just returned from a Goodyear truck repair shop where I took my Rv in for a front end alignment. They told me I had a wheel bearing that needed replacement. Called local Chevy dealer that sent me to another dealer that sent me to another dealer that sent me somewhere else. It seems that no one knows who if anyone is responsible for warranty work on the the part of the motorhome with Chevy and Workhorse stickers on it. Anyone ever had this problem and find out just what we have for warranty if anything?

That is not uncommon. The big myth about Ford and Chev class C RVs is you can go to any Ford/Chev dealer to get them worked on. You have just learned the truth. You need to find a dealer that will work on trucks and RVs (look for a truck dealer) to get your warranty work done.

Give Workhorse a call.
I put my zip code in the link above. Gave me a few location in MI. One just 2 miles from my home.

The Service Manager at 'Sale Chevrolet' in Kinston NC repeatedly 'told' me that my 2004 Chevrolet 3500 Express cutaway van WAS NOT a 'Chevrolet'.

Yes, there ARE Chevrolet service manager 'idiots' out there.

Fortunately, I've found an excellent service manager AND service at 'Kurtis Chevrolet' in Morehead City, NC.

IMHO? If they can't recognize their own product, look elsewhere. You'll save yourself some grief in the long run.

There's probably a phone number in your GM owner's manual that you can call for assistance with finding service. Yes, it will almost surely need to be a dealer that sells & services trucks.

Ended up talking to GM at 800 862 4389. They said Rv was covered under GM warranty and called dealer to explain to them that if it said Chevy on it it is covered. The only thing the GM rep said about Workhorse covering some warranty work was some units built in 1999.
