I would get a better quality 12 volt DC breakers maybe from a marine store. Most of these are manual reset. BLUE SEA SYSTEMSs I use many of their products on my OFF-ROAD POPUP battery systems. All of the BLUE SEA PRODUCTS can be purchased using AMAZON.COM just enter the Blue Sea Part Number in the AMAZON search entry... I am not sure what you have in mind replacing your auto reset type circuit breakers but if I was to use some panel type circuit breakers I would mount them in a panel inside the trailer as close to the battery bank as I could get it but be out of the weather elements... Blue Sea has such DC Circuit breaker panels that might suit your needs. If your DC Circuit breaker panel can only be installed outside your trailer I would look into putting the DC circuit breaker panel inside a PVC enclosure with a door or easy access lid arrangement. I'm sitting in an airport right now, so I cannot look up the specific, but I believe it is QO. Be careful so there is no tension on the studes. You need to bend the wire so there is a small offset so any temperature change will not put any stress on the posts. Even if they circuit breaker manufacturer says they are weather proof, they still need some protection. Use electrical grease on all connections.
