Had two occasions to contact Good Sam customer service with some questions recently and just wanted to thank Marcus for having customer service people who actually speak clear, understandable English.

I know it seems like a simple thing, but I had just finished dealing with some credit card fraud and was forced to work with customer service people who spoke very poor English. It was an exceedingly frustrating situation.

Great to know that Good Sam supports Americans.

I read recently where if you are routed to a call center where they do not speak clear English, that you can ask to speak to a person in the US who speaks clear English, and they will transfer you back to America.

With my small business we work with senior citizens. One of our written guarantees is that all of our staff speaks clear English. Another is our no cursing guarantee. While most people smile when they read these, I think our customers appreciate it.

X2
My recent experience with Good Sam Road Side Assistance was also excellent (except for the flat tire, which was a bummer)

If they have foreign speaking people, they show they aren't worrying about the American eorker. Why give them the second chance.... CLICK... The same with recorded messages. When I say hello, if there;s a hesitation, it's a recording, CLICK...

Would you hire a woodworker who couldn't hold onto a tool? Or a carpenter who couldn't drive a nail?

I believe someone who legally and legitimately wants a job in the USA and makes the effort should be given a chance to have a job. But it is also important to have the necessary job skill for the position.

Telephone customer service requires the ability to communicate in English. Additional or optional languages are a bonus and can be helpful, but English is required.

The more I learn about GS, the more I appreciate being a member. They aren't always perfect, but really do seem to be making the effort to make smart decisions and put the customer first.

Good job, Marcus and team!

So much for our country being a melting pot, guess we will just keep all them in minimum wages jobs. Glad that did not happen when my family came from Germany around 1910.

You guys should be ashamed.
