Does anyone have trouble using GPS in a Class C because the overhead bunk blocks a clear view to the satellites? (I'm fairly new to the forums, so if this has been covered before, please point me to the thread.) Thanks.

I'm not aware of any issues.
But there is a 'search' function.
Welcome.

Nope. Been addressed before and nobody to date has had issues.

Never had an issue. My old Magellan has always worked perfectly.

Hi,

No problems for me either--except very occasionally if I am driving north.

6+ years ago when I moved from a B to a small C, my first Garmin (2610) didn't like have a close-by mountain in the windshield with trees overhead. I bought an external antenna and ran the wire into the top bunk to the top of the window shade for the side window. Problem solved for the most part. GPS signals will apparently penetrate the fiberglass roof. Heavy vegetation overhead was still occasionally an issue.

My present TomTom (Via 1435) doesn't seem to care.

Our old Garmin 2620 was very fussy about where it was mounted. But the newer 265W seems to work anywhere in the coach. The 265w gets stuck to a can of beans(Bush's Brown) in the cup holder.

No problems either, except sometimes when driving north, when in central to northern areas of SK, AB and BC. Our Garmin is mounted on the dog house, not the windshield or dash.
