RE: It happened again, theives broke into my toy hauler.

BTW, I found an offical Quarantine Notice, you could print one of these out everytime and tape it on the door when you store it. Just edit the State on this form.
Bet money it will work and the theives will go to the next trailer.
Link to full rez version for printing..

RE: Warrior Lifestyles Experience

The guys are Warrior Lifestyles have been amazing and gone way above and beyond any RV customer service I have ever experienced. Quite frankly so far their customer service has been better than anyone I have delt with period.
Even before I bought a WW I called to ask a few questions about my intended usage and they spent a lot of time not only answering my questions but gave me lots of tips on what to look out for and what I should do for various years/models to met my needs. They sent me detailed info including pictures of how to do the upgrades I wanted to do even before I bought my LE3505.
Once I did buy mine I was made to feel even more a part of the "family" and helped supply me with even the simplest of requests and help. They even went as far as making things for me that I wanted to match my 07 and did so in a very timely and cost efective manner.
AND all of customer service this for a model that the previous company had made and full well knowing that due to my location they will never do actual service work for me.
Kudos to those guys!

RE: Question on outside speakers?

Update!
Installed the Kicker KM6000s today in my WW and the difference is dramatic!
I did one speaker to compare it to the original and it was like the difference between an AM and FM radio station. Very nice highs that were none existant on the originals and deeper bass. I didn't really realize just how bad the originals sounded until I listened to them both at the same time.
Ironically the higher powered Kickers are also louder at the same volume level as compared to the originals. So there is no need to worry that smaller powered stereos won't drive these. They also did not distort when cranked up louder like the originals.
Fit was perfect, depth was the same as the original WW speakers so no mods were needed and even the 4 mounting holes were identical. The only difference is the Kicker grills are slightly smaller in overall outside diameter so the caulking will need to be removed and redone, which really should be done anyway.
Overall EXTREMELY pleased with the change, especially for the low cost. Got mine off of Ebay for $67.50 with free shipping and had them 2 days after purchase!

RE: It happened again, theives broke into my toy hauler.

I've got a cheaper solution. Laminate a paper and stick it outside to the door that says this RV has been broken into twice so we've removed everything of value. Try another RV.
....or put Bio-Hazard Decals on the Doors/Windows stating it has been quarantined by the CDC due to H1N1 outbreak :-)

RE: New WW LED 3505 on Ebay - Could be a great deal!

45'.............thats a LOT of trailer.......
If the description is correct it is one of the "+5" models which would give it a 17 foot garage?? Even I could live with that! I guess it depends if the description is "model size" or actual measured length.

RE: It happened again, theives broke into my toy hauler.

So. Any great ideas out there to keep the scum of the earth from getting in the rig? Both times they went through the side entry door. Their crow bar made quick work of it.
Sorry to hear about that, I hate thieves!!
In reality if someone wants to break in to a Toy Hauler (or any RV) it would be impossible to stop them. You could reinforce the entry door locks but the door itself is not strong. Besides as you know it is nothing to pop open an RV window to get inside.
Best bet it to find a safer place to store it and make sure the insurance is current.
Good luck,

JT toss that tiny worthless oven and get a convection Jenny loves hers even Grace can cook bisquits, cookies, brownies in our with no prblem
I agree, my wife loves our Convection/Microwave and she makes all kind of good stuff with it! She told me should would never go back to the gas ovens we had in previous RVs.

Ha, Ha!! I couldn't deal with the restriction of the garage either, but the LEDs are very nice for a garage model. BTW, that one is pretty close to you.
Hope you are going great!

RE: Oven Burns EVERYTHING What Can I do to Fix

First of all, I WOULD NOT REPLACE THE OVEN DOOR INSULATION WITH DUCT BOARD AND PUT A DECORATIVE BOARD ON THE OUTSIDE! :E You're looking for a fire there!
Actually, after I installed the ductboard and before I installed the wood front, I fired up the oven and cranked it to the max for about an hour. Outside of the duct board read about 85 degrees on a digital temp gun. Been used many hours since with no issues.
IMO, it's still better than that wad of cotton that was in there.
Makes logical sense, BUT if by chance the turkey in the oven catches fire and the flames start leaking out around the door edges you will be giving it a lot more fuel to make matters much worse. Just a thought.

RE: Oven Burns EVERYTHING What Can I do to Fix

By using an oven thermometer you would probably find your oven is running a lot hotter than the dial indicates. We've found that simply lowering the temp to where it's what we WANT it to be instead of using the dial, it does a fairly good job. About the only OTHER concession DW makes is to rotate what she's baking when about half way through.
Before our new WW that has the Convection/Microwave, my DW said she made sure to always use the highest rack position in the gas oven and she started with approx 25 degrees lower than she would normally use and adjusted (learned) from there.

New WW LED 3505 on Ebay - Could be a great deal!

Hi Guys,
Just noticed a brand new 2008 LED 3505 pop up on Ebay. Looks like it could be a great deal for someone that is interested. Starting bid $25K (with reserve) and states it will sell below cost. Also it is on the eastern side of the country as it is rare to find them here.

RE: Best brands/models of toy haulers

I love my Warrior, This is the 3rd one and I would buy another. That being said, I know they went out of business but support on the unit is now re established. Once they get back into full swing of making trailers again, I would not hesitate to purchase one.
I too wouldn't hesitate one second to buy another one and as of yet I still haven't seen another brand that suits my needs/wants functionally and visually. Are there things on a Warrior I would do differently than they did, absolutely, but the changes I would make are far less on it than any other brand/model I has inspected or used in the past.
The only problem I have had with mine was a cracked shower surround. This was discovered even before purchase by the dealer and disclosed to me. I was given a choice of replacement by the dealer, but I preferred to do it myself and the dealer knocked the cost of the repair/replacement off the purchase price. Ironically I called the shower manufacturer (Lyons Industries) and told them I needed a replacement. Even though my unit is a 2007 model they didn't blink an eye and sent me a brand new surround AND a new shower base just in case it had a problem... both for FREE!!! I also wanted something different besides the plain one that came in mine and they upgraded me to the fancier marbled looking version, still at no cost. Talk about customer service!!
This is a prime example that just because an RV manufacturer is out of business doesn't mean it is a big deal to get warranty issues taken care of as most components used in all RVs are made by the same companies. The support for things I wanted to buy for mods/upgrades from Warrior Lifestyles has been a zillion times easier than dealing with the large RV manufactures in the past. It seemed to take an act of congress to get even the simplest things from other RV manufactures, trying to get the dealers to understand exactly what I wanted/needed and for them to relay the proper info to the manufacture was a nightmare. Almost everything I ordered from the other guys took 2-3 tries to get the exact part I needed. With Warrior a simple phone call and they knew exactly what I wanted and gave me tips of how to install or upgrade. They were also willing to make or build custom stuff for me to match what I have, kudos to those guys!
Even when I wanted to upgrade things like the frame/suspension (because I plan to haul a car often in mine and I like overkill), a quick call to Warrior and the service manager spent countless time on the phone with me giving advice on how to accomplish what I wanted to do. They even took the time to snap pics and sent them to me to give me ideas on how they would do it.
I remember one example where I sent a quick e-mail asking a question that really only needed a one sentence reply to answer. I also said it was no rush and to answer whenever. Low and behold 5 minutes after sending the e-mail my cell phone was ringing with the main guy in service and he spent over 30 minutes not only answering my question but going into in detail and tips concerning my question.
