RE: Revouninstaller on Windows 7?

I used this on XP 32-bit, but now, with Windows 7 64-bit I see that it is listed on the download site as being only for 32-bit systems. Has anyone tried it on Win7 64-bit yet. It is a greatutility and I'd like to use it again. I used it last night for uninstalling Carbonite. It just installs it to the x86 folder

RE: 32 bit vs 64 bit

I am running WIN XP on my laptop. Do I have a 32 bit or 64 bit system. and if it's a 32 bit, how do I make it a 64 bit? It is simple, you get a new populated mother board. The data path is twice as wide as a 32bit machine.. Each machine cycle is moving twice as much data. In simple terms, you have a shovel that is 12" wide, and you replace it with a shovel that is 24" wide you can shovel twice as much, if you are strong enough to lift it. Simple????....you forgot to tell him he'll need a new 64 bit processor and memory also...probably a new Power supply. Doing all that might as well get an SATA drive.

RE: 32 bit vs 64 bit

I'm not sure WHAT the easiest upgrade from XP would be since I've been told that upgrade to windows 7 is not possible from XP. As said already, the big advantage to a 64 bit system is you can recognize larger blocks of RAM than when using 32 bit system. I'm pretty sure there are some security advantages also. You never really want to "upgrade" a windows system. You can do a clean install of win 7 with the upgrade disk, with win xp already installed. It will wipe the drive clean and do a fresh install of 7.

RE: I watched some idiot dump his trailer off the hitch today.

I am so happy to have found this forum!Must be the only place on earth where none of the members have never screwed up! Well, all exept for me, I have made mistakes, guessed wrong, thought I knew when I didnt, on many occasions. Oh well, at least the rest of you are perfect. Keep up the good work. That's what I was thinking...nextime some one posts that they backed into something, or I left my black tank open at a full hookup, i'm gonna let it rip. I for one had a 5x8 trailer come off the ball. I thought it was on all the way, but it wasn't. I guarantee it won't happen again.

RE: Radio's with GPS

For price point seperate GPS are cheaper, but my nephew has one he had put in ..the unit was like 1500.00. He loves it tho. The gps is Garmin based and more road names show up as you are driving around with no route entered.

RE: MAGICJACK

explain.. the MJ's i've seen plug into the phones USB port, do you mean your PC was connected to the internet via wifi or you have a NEW MJ that has wifi and connects directly to a wifi hot spot ? I think he means his router is WIFI to the computer that the MJ is plugged into.

RE: Microsoft Office 2003 installation

If it doesn't work, and the seller gives you a hard time file a dispute with paypal if you used it. Paypal mostly sides with buyers in these situations.

RE: Emerson Lcd at Walmart

Hope noone bought that 30 some odd inch Emerson TV at Walmart on Friday...My dad bought one for his bedroom and what a cheap piece of JUNK...must be a 60Hz...Motion blur is soooo bad. Any movement is terrible. The brand name alone should have scared you off. It's the quality, not the refresh rate. The 240hz trend is a marketing gimmick. There are plenty of 240hz models that suck too. It wasn't me..I know better

RE: Spare Tire Security & Extra Spare?

I carry 2 if I go on a trip over 400 miles. 3 years ago there was a very happy camper. He had no spare and I sold him my extra one. I made 30 bucks and he went on his way.

RE: is cricket cell phone and air card any good

thinking of getting cricket and was wondering if the coverage is any good thanks I looked into it and I thought the coverage area sucked in Wi, unless you are in populated areas.

RE: What is happening to this forum and the format?

Sorry but I have to ask, How hard is it too push the Home key, It will instantly return you to the top of the page. and......if the brakes don't work on your truck you could always put your feet out the door to stop. The point is it's broke and someone should be made aware and have it fixed. Not everyone knows if a problem has been addressed.
