We just bought 6 acres to park the camper on. 70 miles from home. We traveled for the last 10 years. Sometimes it gets tireing (sp?)getting everything going every weekend. eventually we will retire there. Mike54 you are welcome to use it on your travels...we have power hooked up now now!!! btw YOU have to cut the grass:B

Straight talk has CDMA amd GSM Phones. Be sure you get the right phone for the area you will be in.
As far as internet it is really slooooow, and doesn't work in roaming mode.
I have had it for about a year now and works well.
i had the same issue with my straight talk phone(no web while roaming)
dial asterick(star) 228 and hit send... you will get a verizon messsage..hit option 2 to upgrade your roaming cabibility
that did the trick for me and have web whereever the phone works

Thanks cecilt.. you and Eric james have the 2 TT I have been looking at. I guess now I just need to go get one. Are the WDH something that people negotiate into the deal of the trailer or you need to purchase after???
Many negotiate it in the deal. Beware if a dealer puts it on....it may be wrong. We had ours put on by our dealer and the brackets that go on the TT were upside down.

You might try adding a wall mount in addition to the support poles. That's what I did here and now the table is rock-solid. Still folds down easily to make into a bed.

The thing is we bought 6acres to put the TT on, and want to get the solids to a 400 gal holding tank get it too the nearest dump station....

I have to say motel for only one reason. Your truck!
I have the exact same TV and TT as you do and I can handle moderate hills, BUT a mountain? NO WAY!!!
My wife and I have agreed that if we were to travel anywhere mountainous it will be with no less than a 3/4 ton truck, and preferrably a diesel.
But I am not a risk taker so the choice is yours.
I would MUCH RATHER STAY IN MY CAMPER, of course! But I would not want to replace my transmission either!!! Just saying!
I dunno, thouands upon thousands of people with their 1/2 tons make the trip over there. the main highways arn't bad for a truck. You just have to drive within your limits. My TT is 6500 loaded and I have only had 1/2 tons.....

we bought a 96 starcraft TT. We are new to campers and we have been trying to figure out stuff as we go along. One thing that has us stumped is a switch inside the wall cabinet over the sink and next to the microwave.
How about calling the people you bought it from.....
