All loaded up ready to head south to the sun shine state for thanksgiving. Going to see the oldest city in the US then get some water from the fountain of youth. The water is free but the bottle will cost ya. Got to see all I can before it's all under water.

The early 06 Duramax was still an LLY but the rest like mine then classic into 07 were LBZ. Expect 16MPG around town if you drive it nice. The powers awesome so it's hard to keep your foot to play nice :B

It it stays true to form, it would be October 7 - 10. Usually the second weekend in October. If it's not then I guess I'll be having a rally by myself that weekend.....
The way the weather is going we could have a Winter Rally yet!
Staying the same and we've reserved the same sites for our group. Call Indian Trails for reservations for it again and always make sure you say your with the RV.Net rally group. That way you'll know you have the right weekend and get any discounts if there are any. :B

RE: Ford Expedition 5.4L 3.73 H/D tow pkg
SteveOrt; I just sold my 2003 EB Expedition 6 weeks ago, it was equiped with the 5.4 with 3.73 and tow package. Used it since 2005 to tow the TT in my sig and towed that combination through the Rockies, Smokies and more up to when I traded it in with 102,000 miles on it. Your Expedition has the extra horse power from the newer 5.4 I always wish I had which is a plus for you. Hitched properly with WD & SC you'll be fine. Expect to work your engine hard but the 5.4 will take what you throw at it. To be able to hold your speed upgrade however people will be pulling out in front of you or basically just getting in your way which will cause you to have to slow down, once that happens you won't be able to get back up to speed very easily. Also note that the longer TT vs your wheel base the better SC needs to be, my TT is 30 feet long bumper to ball, you'll feel those side winds and will need to keep sway in check.

Oh no Dave,, No plows on my truck,, I stay inside where its warm :) Maybe a newer dark blue 2500 though. You could be the start of the northern fleet captain Dave :W

Was a great fall rally :B many thanks again to the Indian Trails staff for hosting this fun event for us all. Thanks again also goes out to Dave(Head'n Out)& Victor for taking care of the T-shirts, Pat & Carey for supplying the meat & their generous raffle prizes, Butch(Wolfsontheprowl) & Dave(Head'n Out)for serving the sandwiches, Marty & Wendy for cooking the meat and all the help they always do, Michelle(Uppercrust) & Laurie(Poppin-up-fun)for the kids crafts, Butch(CB)for the tarps that helped keep us warm & the jack blocks he built for the raffle, Scott (Monkeybutt)for the fire rocket, and of course let's not forget Jackpot girl (I love her :W ).
Fun was a priority along with staying warm. Everyone pitched in to make it a great rally as always. Thanks goes out to all!
