Wow Denny Hamlin and Jeff Gordon really put on a show. I love to see racing like that. I guess the real thrill was Kyle not making the chase. Old man Mark Martin sitting on top for the chase at the start.....how great would it be to see him win one.

splindid washers
We have had the washer/dryer combo unvented. I am getting ready to replace it. Does anyone have any information wether the vented or unvented is better.

Today August 6, 2009 at 1 PM I will have been married to my highschool sweetheart for 47 wonderful years. We were very young when we married and was told several times we won't make it. Well in 2003 I thought I should not take any chances so I made arrangements, then proposed all over again, took her to Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chappel and renewed our vows.

RE: State Farm Insurance for full time RVers
We have mail forwarding from AA in Sioux Falls, our home owners for the RV and our Jeep is through Doughtery next to Alternative resources. In 2006 I had a claim of over $18,000 and a few months later a new windsheild. Interstate National paid with no questions. They give me Mexican coverage for $7 on RV and $5 on jeep per year.
This is not Mexican Liability but I am covered otherwise. This year my policy actually went down $300 on RV and $300 on the Jeep.
Before moving address to SD we had State Farm in Indiana, when we went fulltime they would not cover us. I had been with State Farm for 20 years.

Yesterday June 6th was the annual kids fishing derby. There were unofficially 1675 kids. This is an annual derby that gets bigger every year. Everything is free...fishing, hot dogs, drinks, prizes.
They gave away fishing poles, tents, sleeping bags, tackel boxes and bicycles. A good time was had for all. If you have never been involved in something like this it happens the 1st weekend in June every year. It is for kids 1 to 15

Wolf Creek Nat'l Fish Hatchery
Wolf Creek Nat'l Fish Hatchery has openings for September 2009 through March 2010. Volunteer 1 month, 2 months or as long as you want. Great people, great area with plenty of wild life, lake and lots of fishing. Contact Amanda Patrick at Wolf Creek Nat'l Fish Hatchery. Amanda_Patrick@fws.gov
My DW and I liked it so much we came back for the 2nd year. This Sat we will have the Kids Fishing Derby....last year there were 1,650 kids and looking for more this year.

RE: THE BEST LOCATIONS FOR WORKAMPING
The great people of The Wolf Creek Nat'l Fish Hatchery in Kentucky are looking for some workampers for Sep, Oct, Nov, and possibly Dec. All or part of the 4 months. The weather is not too bad around this time of year. There are lots of deer and wild turkeys here. They work the volunteers 20 to 24 hours per week. They furnish lot w/ full hookups, laundry, and propane. The first picture is the visitor center you will work in and the next picture is one of 5 lots they furnish.

RE: Cheap (but good) wine
Wal-mart has some pretty good wine. Oak Leaf Wine at $3 a bottle and pretty good. Our son took a wine tasting class when at Indiana University and considers any wine under $35 not worth buying. My wife gave him a glass of Oak Leaf and our son says that is really good where did you get it. For $3 a bottle it can't be beat.

refreshment
Well we are in Kentucky, watched the derby and had a great glass of refreshment. I had a mint julep before but this was a chocolat mint julep.
2 oz makers mark bourbon
2 oz Godiva original chocolat liquer
1 1/2 oz of mint simple syrup
( 1cup boiling water,1 cup surgar, stir till clear, 2tsp
mint extract)
pour over shaved ice.
add 1 sprig of mint
very gooooooood

Don,
What about spring/summer positions?
Just how much winter do they get there?
Winter can get pretty cold. 2 yrs ago they had a real mild winter, last winter it was pretty cold. Spring and summer is nice....spring can be wet. Summer is warm.
