RE: Barbecue Sauce

I'm trying to cut down on sugar and high fructose corn syrup. I'd like to find some barbecue sauce that isn't loaded with those 2 ingredients. I've googled and searched and found some various recipes, but nothing seems quite right. Does anyone have a tried and true recipe that is lower in sugar/syrup and still tastes good? Your experience is greatly admired and appreciated. Woody's. :) ;) It's found in most big box grocery stores in the $3.50 to $4 range but entirely worth it. This is just a link to show you what it looks like. We've used Woody's in the past also, but recently have discovered "Stubbs". Don't know the sugar content, but it's delicious and comes in regular and spicy.

RE: Best RV supplies in RGV

We are looking for a new door latch as ours broke this past week. Are going to be down in RGV this coming weekend to visit DD, so thought we might pick one up while there..if I can get it thru security at the airport in carry-on baggage! Where we live it's at least 30 miles to nearest dealer, or we can order online, but thought about this option since we're going to be there anyway.

I just checked another forum post that has multiple pages. If you scroll down a little farther at the end of the page (past an ad)the "next" button is still there.

RE: lost my cell phone - somebody found it

THis happened to my daughter while she was walking with GD at the park, but she was lucky..the lady that found it found "mom" in her address book & called me. I told her where she lived about 2 blocks away & she was going to take it to her house, but they found each other before she had to do that. I had never thought about having the service turned off if a phone was stolen...thanks for mentioning that. I'll certainly do that if that happens to me.

RE: Can a City Possum make it in the Country?

RE: Any square dance campers out there?

You know, my DW and I would love to learn how to square dance but don't know where to look for lessons. Square Dance clubs usually offer lessons from time to time. Check with your local Chamber of Commerce about local square dance clubs. It is fun, we used to belong to a group when our kids were little. Ask in towns where you camp about local clubs. I'll bet most of them have one and you're always welcome!

RE: Does anyone use the storage under queen sized bed?

While fulltiming we used ours for winter clothing, extra quilts, camera gear (tripods, etc) hiking gear. We don't fulltime, but I like this idea of putting off season clothes here!! Why drag them in & out of house when they could so easily be stored here when not in use. Thanks, Dianne, for sharing. We do use ours now, as others do, for items not frequently, but I think I'll add clothes to it. BTW ours does have the lift arms, but is very hard to lift to get started. Is that due to the fact that it's not used much?

RE: Homemade yeast rolls recipe that is easy.

I used a meat thermonmeter to get the right temperature on the water for the yeast. Add a teaspoon of sugar to the water before you pour it on the yeast. I was using water that was too cool. I no longer have to use anything but a finger to get it right but it took a while. What temperature did you use?

RE: Homemade yeast rolls recipe that is easy.

The problem I've always had with yeast rolls is getting the "warm" water the correct temprature. If its too cool or too warm it won't work. How do you know what is "warm"? Personally, I use the Rhodes frozen rolls. I don't think you can beat them!
