RE: 3rd Mid-Atlantic Killens Pond Gathering April 9-11 2010
Chris-Gary and I are trying to make it. Sharon had said the HTowners were not going to be able to make it, so we were going to try to get their site(C4) however when we went to the online reservations the site is not available. C1 and C2 are available but we are not sure if we can fit the trailer into the site, what do you think?

Totally jealous.................I think?? Hope you all have a great New Years and enjoys Woody's tonight. And of course we want all the details on the "alcohol patrol".
I just can't help thinking that the photo is just "wrong" snow and campers just don't look right together.

Robo-Don-Chris or Frank... Gary and I are trying to get a picture of the trailer onto our signature, I know that the size requirements are 100KB and 640X480 if I have a photo that is 839KB and 2407X1887 can that be shrunk down to the required size if so how is it done

RE: Camping clubs/groups?
I'm wondering if there are camping clubs groups for people with campers. I'm in South Jersey. How would I go about finding out? We have a group that is referred to as Mid-Atlantic group. We gather every so often and this is a great group of people. Our ages range from Mid 30's to mid 60's. We started as a Hybrid trailer group, however most of us have moved onto class C's and travel trailers. We have a large gathering at Elk Neck state park the 3rd weekend of September, we also have a date selected for Spring Gulch in Pa, that is the weekend of May 13th 2010. There are a couple of us from NJ, most come from Maryland and Virgina as well as Pa.

Well like everyone else we got the phone message..however this is what our message said "alcohol will only be allowed in a motorhome. A pull along trailer does not qualify as a motorhome". That is discrimanation! What is the deal with that, in reality it is probally that way so that campground host can consume legally.
So for us? Eric and Joanne will have to join us on EVERY Elk Neck trip :) and we will all have to cram into their motorhome!

Well got home at 12:05 and I was back out the door at 12:25. I hope my girlfriend appreciated what I did for her!
Anyway-once again another great weekend with some great friends! We always say we are so lucky to have found a great bunch of people!

Well Nick and I are sitting here waiting for Gary to come home from work. Everything is ready to go. He had no idea what time he could finish today..and told me if there were major breakdowns he would have to work Friday as well :( I am hoping that by the time we get there it will be 70 and 20% humidity and plenty of sunshine and of course NO SKEETERS! Please take care of that for me Chris and Scott

We have a long folding table, screen tent and 2 "easy ups" we will just put it all in the truck and they will be available should we need it. Of course it WILL not rain , but none the less we will have it all with us.
I vote for the Saturday night dinner photo!
Any chance we can see the updated site assignments?

This is a hard theme.....us New Jersey folks are not used to "red necks", decorating will not be as easy as last year. But i have the dogs covered again. \
We will be arriving late thursday night, and have to leave early Sunday(I ham my best friends daughters wedding shower that afternoon), Gary is not happy about being rushed to pack up on Sunday-but I can not miss this shower.

Ooooo I bought some neat things for our theme today but I still need the mechanical bull.
Shame we didn't have more time to plan. A bull can be made with a 55-gallon barrel and ropes from the 4 corners going to trees. See VIDEO
Ok my speciality is orthopedics, I can see if one of our surgeons can come along to fixed any broken hips, arms, wrist, or head trauma!

The way I look at it--we are all from the mid-atlantic, we all have rv's we are all in a group, and gathering vs rally-no difference to me.
Oh-New Jersey for sure, I think we have had some people at our gatherings from New York, I can't say I remember anyone further north.
