RE: Tornado at end of empting only?

Here is the way I do mine. I install a clear plastic elbow from Walmart. Pull the dump valve. As it's emptying, I hook up the water hose to Tornado. Buy this time the tank is usually emptied. I turn on the Tornado, when the water starts to flow clear, I close the dump valve and dump the Gray tank. When that is drained, I close the valve and reopen the black tank. If that is still clean, then I'm done and shut the dump valve, turn off the Tornado and put the hoses away. Bill

That is the cover to the wrap drive governor phase loop lock sequencing drive. You shouldn't be going over light speed without it.

RE: Wal Mart CG, I thought

Kind of reminds me when I pulled into a Walmart up in Maine. There was a 30 foot or so travel trailer, all by it's self. Had shrubs in those two foot pots, along the front, a couple of lounge chairs, a 10 X 8 or so rug by the front door. Around 7 o'clock that night he drives in with a women, stays for an hour or so, then leaves, an hour or so later comes back with a different women for an hour so then leaves. I think it would be fair to say, that if I were the manager of a Walmart and saw my parking lot turning into a campground with slides out, chairs and what have you going on, I would be having signs made up Banning Overnight Parking. RE: Water Pressure

I believe you will find the PEX tubing used in your water system is rated at 60PSI, you will also find the faucets will open themselves at 60PSI. A good Setting for you pressure is 45 to 50 PSI. Bill

RE: New RV Owner...Help!

I have to agree with denbroncs. But having a coach of that old, and in your driveway, is half the battle. What you will want to do next is go threw one item at a time seeing how it works and making sure it works. You might find a friend that knows what is what so say. Checking the from the entry door in. Waste lines, dump valves, water tanks, hot water heater and every thing else. JM2Cents Bill. Been there and done that to many times. LOL.. Good Luck

RE: Quartsite

The reason I gave you those dates, is based on last year, they only use the big tent for the RV Show. The craft shows and gem shows, were all along the walkways and roads. Bill.

I wonder if the car uses Blue Ox, Ready Brute, or one of the tow bars.

RE: House battery & generator

As Sandia Man mentioned, you could have tried pushing the battery boost button, that should have activated a rely that would have tied the coach to house battery. Bill

RE: Toilet problems

Your problem can be several things.
1. Are you keeping your black tank closed to your ready to or at least 3/4 full. If you are leaving the dump valve open you will build up what is a called a TP teepee.
2. Do you have a rinse for you tank. The Turbo rinser is an add one, but will wash the inside of the tank after you dump.
3. If you have little ones, they tend to use hand fulls of toilet paper. This as you know will form big clumps in the tank, and will hard a time going threw the drain pipe.
If the problem started after the first year of use, I would tend to believe that you have Teepee built up under the toilet. So anyone one using any paper at will will clog the toilet. You might use want to remove the toilet, tank a flash light and look down the tube. You'll know for sure what your dealing with. Good Luck and Happy dumping. Bill

RE: Directv LNB Switches For Sat 101 & 119

The set up you just mentioned is for Dish Network. 110 and 119 are Dish Net satellites. Hope that helps Bill
Note: Uses a Dish 500 for the two satellites.

RE: Tow Dollies

I think you find the "Ready Brake" and affordable alternative. If you have any mechanical ability, you should be able to install most of it yourself. Ready Brake with surge brakes.

RE: Tow Dollies

I think you will find most folks prefer the Tow Bar over the Dolly. If you car can't be towed four down, then you might have to go with a dolly. I know I went out bought a toad just for the Mo Home. Having towed with a dolly in the past. Of course there are those that will only use a dolly. The way I see it, I'm on the bar in under 10 Minuets on a bad day. takes 20 Minuets to get up on the dolly and tied down on a good day. A dolly will run about $2,500. to $3,500 depending on the deal you get. A Ready Brute tow bar system with brakes, plate and cables runs about $1,200.00 JM2Cents Bill

RE: Mice? Any way to keep them out?

The best cure is to seal all the holes that are through out the RV. You can seal them with that spray foam. Under the motor compartment, like around the gas and break pedals. Where there are any wires coming threw. Water pipes, heating ducts. All they need is 1/4" gape and there in. Bill.

RE: Quartzite gathering still going strong?

I was there last winter for a month or so. There was allot of talk about how general population of folks was down like 30 percent. Rumors had it that the vendors were down also because of cost for there rental booths had gone up and most felt it was going to be a set up in Quartzite setting up in Phoenix. I know I had no problems finding a place, since there were allot of open spots in most of the RV Parks. JM2Cents Bill

On some of those older units, there was no automatic transfer switch, could have forgotten to plug it in. There are also breakers on the Gen, that might have tripped. Good Luck Bill

I don't know, been awhile since I drove my stick built down the road at 60 miles per hour. Pulling it with my every day car. Wondering if that could be part of the equation. Bill

You can also try using those Frito Corn Chips. They burn great and make a great starter fuel.
