RE: Motorhome vs. Fiver

1. Do you FT in a motorhome or fifth wheel? Fifth Wheel
2. Why did you make that choise? The interior room, ceiling height, and endless floorplan layouts.
3. Pros of your choice? I have complete control to back up immediately if I ever get into that situation. (safety factor) *i understand that if your vehicle is trailered you can back up a MH.
4. Cons of your choice? Setup is slower when you have a hitch bedsaver. (but I wouldn't be without it)
5. Would you choose the same (MH vs. 5er) again? Yes I would, without a doubt.
I'm solo, and this setup works best for me.

RE: Starting ain't soooo easy

This is a good lesson for potential full timers.
Start to unload your 'stuff' a couple years before you take the plunge. And a couple years may not be enough time for some of us. :)
Or do it the easy way, and sell your house with everything in it (like I did). Piece of cake.:B

RE: Stay put full timers

Snip..... lessons learned - make long term reservations in an area that, through research or prior knowledge, holds your treasures..........Snip
This is so true. There are times when I have stayed put for a month or so, and found so many places of interest to go, that I ran out of time and couldn't see it all. There have been a few times I ran out of exicting things to do before the month was up, and that wasn't any fun. But, that's when you just catch up on maintenance and cleaning projects and the time will fly by :R So, I pretty much plan out my adventures now so that won't happen. :C
