RE: Vista / Wireless Connectivity

Thank you, everyone, for the replies and discussion. It is quite informative.
As for the subject line, I started to ask the question in one way and it included the fact that Vista is on the machine that is having issues. When I changed the question, I forgot to change the subject line.
Everything seems to work fine during the daytime. But, in the evenings, the Interet connection bounces like a yo-yo. The connection will drop many times. Just trying to put two and two together, the neighbors are gone frequently during the day and are home in the evenings. And, suspect they are online more in the evenings. That's what brought the question. All seemed to work fine until recently.
Thanks, again. Will try changing the channel.

Vista / Wireless Connectivity

Is it possible to get enough interference from the neighbor's wireless setup to cause connectivity issues with one's own wireless router, causing Internet connectivity to drop?
Please and thanks for your time and responses.

Excel 2003 Question

I would sure appreciate some assistance in row shading / colors.
I have data in columns A through N, with multiple rows. Column G has a list box / drop down box, that you make a selection from the list. There are 6 choices in the list. I am trying to make the row color change based on what is selected in the list in column G.
For example, when apple is selected from the list, that specific row turns red. The next row, grape is selected and the row turns green, plum = purple, corn = yellow, etc.
Conditional formatting allows for 3 conditions, I need 6.
Please and thank you, in advance, for any and all assistance / help / suggesions.

RE: It happened again, "picture ID"

Not that the OP would write a bad check, but I wonder if they have to have a DL # or state-issued ID in order to prosecute a returned check.
Just a thought.

RE: Best "Cure" for a Split Lip?

I agree with the plain Chapstick or another is straight emu oil to heal them and emu oil based lip balm.
Good luck and wishing you a speedy healing process.

RE: Laptop Power Problem

Thank you, all, for replying. I was thinking that worse things could be coming....so, I backed everything up this morning. I looked at the cord and there isn't anything that I can see on the outside that would cause a problem. So, tomorrow, I will attempt to take it apart (without getting myself into trouble) to see if I can see anything on the inside.
It is a Gateway Intel Pentium 4 with XP.
Thanks, again. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Laptop Power Problem

Just recently, my laptop is showing signs of bigger trouble to come, I think. Even though I have the power cord plugged in, it sporadically acts as if it is not plugged it. I can wiggle the cord at the laptop connection and finally get it off of battery power. Would you assume that it is the part where the power plug goes into the machine? If so, can I buy a replacement part? What would be your best guess on the price for that part? If that is not a good assumption, what do you think could be the problem?
Please and thanks for your time.

Pretzels

Is it true that the best pretzels come from the northeast? Pennsylvania, maybe? A few years ago, someone gave us a tin (kind of like a popcorn tin) of individually wrapped pretzels. I'm not sure how to describe them properly. They were salted, tied, twisted, knots.....about the size of the palm of my hand. Not the pretzel stick-kind. I remember them to be harder, as opposed to a soft pretzel. Is it sourdough that I would be looking for?
I would like to order a tin of good pretzels. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I sure would appreciate your insight.
Please and thanks, in advance.
