RE: Gas tow vehicles

Maybe 17? I don't think they would be saying seven out-loud :B

RE: Buying a site in an RV Resort.

Good advice and good luck with it all. If you can't be where you like, like where you're at :B

I'd let her add her water then :B

RE: Has any one noticed lately...

No, what I see on the right are Trailer Related Tips, sway control being at the top. Could be helpful for many ;)

RE: California Weight Check Point Calimesa This Week

I doubt it, but a commercial cop will know.

RE: best TT brands

Komfort or Artic Fox are two but at this point 5th wheel toy haulers interest me because of the garage. Enjoy your search.

RE: mystery hoses

Did you inject anti-freeze into your water lines? If you did, now you can drain it out with the red and blue low point drains ;)

RE: Nervous wife

Just tell her you are going. Does she want to come along or not. Forget tires unless you actually need them. This is my standard response but I've been married a long time :S If tires would help, then I guess a whole new outfit would really make her smile. Good luck.

RE: length of average loan

A friend of mine in his 70's will be financing a toy hauler for 20 years if they'll do it :B

RE: Travel Trailer Tire opionions needed

I went from C's to E's with my new Maxxis tires. I just have more confidence in the E's. No reputable tire dealer will install 80psi tires on wheels rated for anything less. Enjoy your new tires.

RE: How do you get the smell of gas off skin?

Well, we've got both. What a choice! I get to sleep with someone who's either going to smell like a gas station or a pizza! Give him another bath and some VO :B

RE: What sway control device should I go with on New TT

I like my Blue Ox Sway Pro. Simple, clean, and effective.

RE: NASCAR at Homestead

The F-104's at Homestead were interesting once upon a time.

RE: Royal Purple

Why even try to justify it? I've driven trucks with over 600,000 miles on them and they only had Delo 400 15-40 in them.

RE: Exhaust brakes need for 2006 F-350?

It is my understanding (which isn't very much on this topic) that a true exhaust (Jake) brake has to be included at factory while engine is being built. Is this correct? If so what is the main difference between "factory" and add on exhaust brake? Google Jake Brake for all the info ;)

Tow a Jeep behind?

Anybody tow their Jeep behind the TH? We want to take 2 quads and the Jeep. Currently, wife drives the Jeep while I tow our small TT with one quad in the PU. Thoughts?

RE: The effects of uncontrolled sway.

Pretty obvious this accident was caused by excess speed for conditions. Conditions include driver competence, weather, equipment, and speed. Speeding up only made this crash more violent.

RE: Exhaust brakes need for 2006 F-350?

I would suggest that you consult your Ford dealer service Dept.. Exhaust brakes on 6.0's have been known to bend exhaust valves. Isn't that something?
