Turn on the propane, (bleed the lines through the stove)
Turn on the furnace (thermostat)..no different than if you were camping.

Your slide out room should not leak...with or without a topper.
We have slide toppers to help control leaves and needles..not to prevent it from leaking.

Don't worry about the tiny spot of thin surface rust on the cams. It will wear off very quickly on your next tow as the cams and the trunnion bar ends rub against one another.
When I un-hook, I swing the cam arms up and use the chains and snap brackets to hold them up higher so they don't hit the ground...just use the shortest chain links that you can.

A dollar a page is pretty much the going rate. I wouldn't drive all over town trying to save a couple of pennies. Walk to your park office and be done with it.

We never run our furnace while underway.
It only takes a minute for two to get some heat going when we stop and set up.
You furnace probably won't keep Lumpy warm anyway.
