RE: outside showers, what are they for?

My youngest daughter (3) loves it. We fill a Rubbermaid storage bucket up with warm water, and carry it over to the awning side.
She takes a bath in it, and it often a fight to get her out of it. She would live in there if the opportunity presented itself.

RE: water pump won't turn off

I had the same issue, and what had happened, is that I shut the valve on the line that connects to the antifreeze fill line, I turned all the bypass valves to the correct setting. What I forgot was the valve that goes to the fresh tank. When I closed that off, it worked like a charm.

RE: Jayco 19h Lino splitting and buckling

That's what I'm going to be asking the RV store to do. I'd rather have Laminate in the camper over the lino any day.
Not sure if they'll help, as this is a warranty issue with Jayco, but I'm going to pitch it to them anyway.

RE: Jayco 19h Lino splitting and buckling

my dealer has been great. I haven't had any items denied, and our local dealership is pretty quick at getting things done.
We'll see how the new claim for the split lino goes, I'll be forwarding the dealer the pictures tomorrow.

RE: Jayco 19h Lino splitting and buckling

mine is a 2008...
List of problems so far:
Tent fabric at the back had small holes (replaced)
Pedestal for the table came loose at the floor (replaced)
Lino split and buckling (to do yet)
Deadbolt latch wouldn't engage (done, to long, had to be ground down 1/8")
Trim around rear bunk missing, large gaps visible (done)
Nothing really major, just looks like somebody doesn't care about fit and finish as much as I do when it was built.

RE: Jayco 19h Lino splitting and buckling

I have carpet under my dinette. The pedestal mounted table kept working it's way loose, so the dealer converted my table to a table that had legs on it. To fix the holes that the ped left, they carpeted it.
It might be split there as well, but my split mostly runs from the front of the sofa to the back. Plus the buckling in front of the fridge, and the sink cabinet.
I'm told they don't glue the lino down, it's just layed in place. The repair will have the lino glued down.

Jayco 19h Lino splitting and buckling

I picked my 19h up from the storage yard lastnight, after it's been there for the winter. The Service Manager and I popped into it lastnight to give it a quick inspection, and he asked if I had any problems with the lino on the floor. We had a quick look and couldn't see any issues.
Pulled it home and unloaded it (all our chairs, tarps, etc were on the floor) and started to clean it.
The lino from the front of the sofa to the back is completely split open, and the lino in front of the sink and the fridge is all buckled.
I called this morning, and apparently, they have about 70 of these campers to re-lino.
I have to send pictures, they send to Jayco for authorization, then 3 to 4 weeks to get material, and then they get somebody to come in to get the lino done.
I'm told they cut around all the seats, walls, cabinets, peel off all the old lino, they cut in and glue down the new stuff. Caulk around all the cabinets, seats, and walls. If the caulk doesn't look good, then they drop in some oak trim.
Anyone else been through this?
Cheers!

RE: Jayco 19H Awning

I have the same setup, 19h, Travel'r 12v awning, and a patty-o-room.
I asked Carefree of Colorado about using the patty-o-room on their awning. Their only concern is that the auto-dump feature will *NOT* function with the patty-o-room attached to the awning.
Coincidence or not, Carefree makes a add-a-room that works with the Travel'r awning, and preserves the auto-dump feature.
My patty-o-room (by A&E) has never been used, so I'm just going to return it to the dealer and exchange it for the Carefree room.
Good luck!

RE: What to place under jack?

I leave the wheel on, and then just use a couple of pieces of "linx levelers" (SP?). The wheel seems to fit into the leveler spaces just perfect.

RE: Help, I feel dumb

I don't have mine at home, it's still at the RV dealer storage yard, but if memory serves, the green wire has a fuse holder on it, correct? If that's the case, then that one is Positive.
