RE: Fridge not starting on gas

Since you state that once you light the burner it will relight by istelf it seems that the ceramic electrode may be taking on moisture when the RV is stored. Once lighted the moisture is removed and normal operation follows. I would replace the electrode.

I can't find it. I posted it about 15 minutes ago.

Electric brake resistance(s)

Measuring the resistance of my trailer brakes from the TV connector, or the breakaway circuit, I get about 6 ohms then by reversing the polarity of ohmeter I get 0 ohms. What is the cause of this discrepancy?
Apparently both resistance measurments are wrong because when I use a jumper and activate the brakes with 13.3 vdc from either the TV connector or the breakaway switch the current draw is 10.9 or 11.0 amps.
Applying ohms law to the voltage and current measurments the resistance should be about 1.2 ohms. So why does my VOM show the wrong values? Or does it?
Dexter tandem axle, 4 brake coils total.

RE: Brake Controller Issues

The Jordan brake controllers have a cable attached to the brake pedal that activates the trailer brake controller and trailer brakes. If the cable were broken or disconnected the brake pedal would activate the brake lights but not the trailer brakes. The manual control would still work.
