Well, I have had 3 Thor Products and I have been very happy with all three. They are definitely mid level trailers and don't have all the necessities like chandeliers and scratched stainless steel cupboards. I have been camping in the desert many times when the temp was in the high twenties and I have not had any complaints. After viewing all the trailers out there that are for sale and the great opportunities to "steal" a great trailer for a low price I would definitely rule out any trailer with water damage though. In my experience, dealers are rarely capable of fixing things to a satisfactory level. It would be better to get a trailer that is "ready to go!" than one that is broken. Don't be in a hurry, shop around and enjoy all the potential great deals! Please keep us informed of your progress. These are very exciting times for trailer hunters!

Actually...that sounds like it has potential....you may end up having more fun than all of us! I really just want to veg in the dez, work on my trailer record the weather(I got a new wireles weather station) and ride the area. I'm looking forward to just hanging out at Jawbone doin my own thing...

He must be some kind of SLACKER!:S I think I will be going to Jawbone this weekend as well. the schools have Monday the 8th off and Monday the 15th off. Jawbone peeps going to same place? (regrets hijacking thread)

got it done, I trained one of my plumbers on how to use the jetter.....in my trailer, I was laughing the whole time! its nice to have a built in genny as we plugged it right in to the trailer, I didn't know what I was missing.
That was a crappy thing to do!:W (sorry I couldn't help myself)

Boy oh boy it is nice to know that others are having the same troubles I am. The "replacement" wipers that I bought for my truck actually fall off now and then! I am going back to stock and purchasing just the rubber replacements from the dealer. It costs about 16 dollars but at least they work perfectly for a couple o years.

The turnout to which you guys are referring is called Butterbredt Road(sp). There is a sign just to the side of the cattle guard when you enter. The coordinates are N35 28.099 W117 57.832 on a Garmin GPS. Hope this helps!

Went to the dez just before Christmas. Tried to make it to the cabin and got stuck 24 times!:E Didn't make it!

My son and I are leaving for Dove Springs tomorrow. We will be at Butterbredt road. I downloaded all the official trails from the friends of jawbone site and we are planning on running all the trails that we have missed in past years. We will be there until Wednesday the 23 of December. I anyone wants to join us just look for the Thor Vortex 277wtb. The turnoff is here N35 29.013 W117 57.408 and our camp will be here N35 29.382 W117 57.983
