Pianotuna; Thanks for the reply.
The OEM's, I believe are 105 or 110 amp hrs each. AND they are NOT deep cycle.

RE: 3 coach 12V battery connections

Whoever sold Winnebago on the inexpensive three 12vdc batteries deserves credit.
First for persuading Winnebago this was a good system.
Second goes to Winnebago for going on the cheap.
I had my three (NAPA) batteries changed under warranty, they were (to Winnebago dealer) $37.00 each. Cripes.
Yet our 08 Tour is loaded with everything, extremely well made and first rate. I would recommend the Tour to anybody. However, when these batteries go, we will switch to four 6vdc batteries.

In my defense I had just had a complete knee replacement and was taking 1/2 of a percoset at the time. DW CDL driver. (okay, I'm dumb)

NEVER cut into the vent pipe.

Ours did that and when I took it in for blowby and turbo recock, it stopped. (Both at Cummins expense)

RE: Oil Change Interval based upon oil sample results

Our engine takes 28 quarts and filter is $37.00.
Average 26K miles per year.
Oil tests good. Change filter around 12K miles.
Works for me, everybody else can do what they want to do.

RE: Oil Change Interval based upon oil sample results

Generally speaking, we change oil so often only to stimulate the economy.
It's the filter that needs changed regularly.

RE: Used RV's Geeting Harder to FInd

Yesterday I had the pleasure of sitting for six hours at Cummins on Losee Road in Las Vegas.
I had been there last September for a recall. While there (Sep) I took a walk up the street to Las Vegas Auctions. At that time they had so many class A's I couldn't count them. Maybe 50 or more. All brands were represented. They were clean looking from what I could tell and late model.
Yesterday there were FOUR old Class "A"s and the rest were trailers.
The lot looked empty.
I went into the office and asked "What happened to all the Class "A"s and 5th wheels you had last September?
Short answer: SOLD ALL OF THEM!!
Just saying...

RE: Cheap Tire Pressure Monitoring TPMS

Mine, on towed and coach, have worked perfectly since installed. 40' MH and 06 Suzuki.
See my post way back when on this thread. I'm a happy camper.
My friends who purchased systems costing ten times as much, put the Securtire system down. It doesn't give time, temp, barometric pressure, and moon phase so it can't possibly be as good as theirs.
What is the MAIN JOB of a TPMS???? If you guessed tire pressure monitoring, give yourself a gold star on the forehead. Envy is ugly...
Just saying.

RE: Thanks wind!

I second The Texan; If your coach is in bad shape now, wait til Findley gets done with it.
Their service writer, Mike, is so lazy it's amazing he still there. But he represents Findley RV as a whole. Told me he called Winnebago and they denied warranty work. I called Winnebago, no record of his call, told me to take it to LV RV on South Las Vegas Blvd and was covered under warranty.
You may try Double Eagle RV repairs. They have a good reputation.

RE: Synthetic oil how good is it

Castro oil has a significant higher content of mineral oil.
There was a law suit several years ago instituted by other companies against Castro oil calling itself "synthetic". Castro was making a higher profit margin.
Settled out of court. Don't know results.
Heck, I use mineral oil in coach battery cells. (2 ounces each cell). I think it's great stuff for everything.

RE: Port Charlotte, Fl

TMitchell is right. If you're are only planning going to the wedding and reception, anyplace is okay.
However, the closest beach is englewood beach and Boca Grande. There is really nothing south of Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda til you get to Fort Myers. JMHO.
