RE: Smoked brisket

Bought a 10 lbs brisket today to smoke tomorrow. I hope it turns out. It's my first time smoking. Low and slow for brisket. It will stall at about 160 degrees that is normal just cook thru it allow plenty of time for smoking/cooking time. Did you slather with mustard and rub overnight? good luck with the smoke What do you use as a rub with mustard under base?

RE: What Recession???

Why do you think RV owners who fill these parks are mainly living from paycheck to paycheck. This is a country that contains many financially independent people that a recession does not alter their life styles. Few people who post on here are loosing their home next week or next month or next year. You need to spend some time working in a food pantry in your community if you want to see the results of a period of recession. I take food to the local pantry that is donated from our church. At the pantry, they tell me more & more seniors are coming in for food. Son or daughter have lost a job & moved back home. A lot of seniors are also caring for the grandchildren. If you care for your family, you'll help them in these hard times. Independently wealthy can continue to live the life style they earned. Not every one was born with a silver spoon in there mouth.

RE: How Often Do You Feed Your Dog?

My dogs have a 1 gallon feeder for dry food. They eat when they want, go in & out the dogie door when they want. Evenings they get a baby carrot for a snack. I walk them about a mile every day.

RE: Bristol Race - WARNING!!

FYI - the process of speed cameras is an Arizona "thing" (Scottsdale is the manufacturer of most), so the cameras are set up all over the State. It is a huge revenue booster, but if you are from out-of-state it seems there is no enforceable way to get you to pay. That is, when you get that official summons in the mail, and told you have 14 days to pay or else, it has the same enforcement value as asking for a contribution to the Police Benevolent Society! So, Arizona (and other States) loose revenue to those that know this (but not many do). CA. has lots of cameras. Infractions start at $450.00 2/3 of the fine goes to the camera manufacture for upkeep. The balance is split between the state & city. My city don't want them, not enough revenue for the city.

RE: 2011 Duramax 397/765

Just a thought, but both Ford and GM were predicted to have more power (400-425 HP) and less torque. I bet they are both sandbagging the horsepower numbers Come on, how much do you really need!? Horsepower don't mean much, You need torque to tow.

RE: Whole Chicken Crock Pot Recipe

To keep the white meat super moist, cook breast down, no need to lay her on her back, your not roasting the bird.

RE: Don’t get a ticket in CA with your endorsement!

Why wouldn't DMV catagorize a “Noncommercial CLASS A permit” (aka RV Endorsement) as a Class A license. Over sight by some entry level employee.

In CA, under 50cc is considered a moped. They have to have a plate but you do not have a special drivers license to operate on a public street.
