I loved the diaries! I forwarded them to my coworkers - we sell pet products! I would have to say that we've had cats who fit the diary, but our current cat is much more like Garfield than the stealth-beast from this story. Eat and sleep, play with running water. Well, she does torment the dogs from time to time, but only in slow-motion and with a certain absence of malice!

Thanks Richard, looks like everyone had fun. Love the picture of all four dogs resting, how precious is that.

Notice anything missing in Hobo's picture? She is not wearing a leash, nope she has graduated to third grade! She didn't want to mix it up with Peaches and Suzie in the water so she sat off in the distance and watched. Then she decided she wanted to go back to the camper and so she wandered back up the hill from the beach toward the camper. When Sue called her she just laid down and waited for Sue to come get her and escort her back to the camper.

Sue really loves Hobo a lot!

Good morning everyone, hope you had a great weekend? Sue and I had a great time with the fur kids at the lake. Mama has become the star student while Suzie has become her understudy. Both of them were trusted of the leash while walking the trails and neither of them wandered off and always came when called. Peaches is obedient, but stubborn at times so she can't be trusted off leash. Hobo is beginning to come around, but you really have to be careful with her off leash and make sure there is nothing going on that could frighten her. For a big girl she can run pretty fast and far when something frightens her.
Anyway, we carried them to the beach area and played fetch as they enjoyed their freedom. Mama said she perferred to just wade around in the water while Hobo just wanted to sit and watch Peaches and Suzie fetch the stick that was thrown into the water. The water was rough as the wind was blowing about 25-35 MPH making white caps and waves.
Summer is gone and fall is well upon us now with temps dropping into the 50's here at night and will get into the 40's later this week. The leaves have begun to turn on some of the trees a sure sign that fall is here and Old Man Winter is on his way. Sue and I were talking about how fast the summer has gone by and the year too as a matter of fact. Time keeps pushing on making me grow older and my hair getting whiter by the day. Sue celebrates a birthday today, so she is passing a milestone herself, but she seems to be getting younger instead of older, how does that work?
Okay, I need to go and get ready to face the day. I have a lot to do with holding prayer meeting tonight while the preacher is gone. Have a great and blessed day everyone, talk with you later.

THe E collarworks but she can get out of it. WOnt know the test results for a few days so keep good thoughts and prayers coming. Thanks

Happy Birthday Sue. Glad Elizabeth is home. Richard, all the lakes and campgrounds you camp at are so pretty. Glad the furkids had such a good time. Hopefully Jewel will be home soon so her family will be happy and relieved.
