There is an abuse case pending where thirteen dogs were killed by a family by taking the mother dog and throwing her to the ground and kicking her to death. Her puppies were thrown out in the weeds in the back yard to strave to death. Then another dog was thrown to the ground breaking its back and leaving it chained in the yard dragging itself around with its front legs.

I went with the sheriff's department to the resident and had the male adult arrested on animal abuse charges. The bricks were for the thirteen lives that were lost. I received money toward one brick to date.

The bricks are to go into the Old Fella Memorial Walkway in the city park as a reminder that these animals will not be forgotten but will always be remembered by the bricks

Richard,
Thanks for the reminder about the thirteen, when the bricks first started we just sent a check. I seem to remember somewhere along the way you came up with an order form. Do I just PM you with my e-mail to get one?
What are you planning to inscribe on the thirteen?
Sorry to make you repeat yourself, but maybe it's a good time to bring it up again.

This is what was suggested. It will take thirteen bricks to do this. I don't want to put the price of the brick as that might be considered soliciting. If interested PM me.

Sue and I have been Augusta all day and just got back. The fur babies are waiting for their walk si I will be brief. All is well here today, still recovering from all the news this week and the court day. I hope all is well with everyone of you and keep the memorial bricks coming, we have had a few more orders today.

Shelter Challenge question, when you confirm your vote is anyone having trouble with some of the spelling of some animals? Namely elephant and squirrel. It always says it is spelled wrong. And I know they are not. Was thinking maybe they spelled it wrong so doesn't recognize the right way.

not a real problem just wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

Thanks

Haven't had a problem on spelling.

Richard, I noticed when I voted that they are giving cash for the two most touching stories. I think the Old Fella story just might make it and if it doesn't certainly the story of the 13 might make it. The for sure winner could be the results of the awakening in your community on Pet Abuse with the recent prosecution and the pending prosecutions. No one has a better way with words then you, go for it my friend.
