The only units I've ever pulled my battery's out of for the winter were pop-ups. As far as TT's or 5er's have been concerned, I've left them in and kept them plugged in day's at a time. Guess it depends on where you live. It does get cold here and it will stay cold for quite a while, but the charger built into the power supply of my current 5er is a pretty good one and I do keep an eye on the fluid level of the batteries and have yet to have had a battery go bad, freeze,(crack) or boil dry. I guess it's like the television info we read. I've got a couple of LCD flat screen TV's in my 5er and never bring them inside and have yet to have any problems with them, (been doing this for years, even with a reg. CRT TV. Guess again, depends on what your experience has been with your weather and how it has affected your equipment. I've yet to have used an engine block heater on any of the diesels I've owned and temps. have dropped below zero more than several times, and with wind chills, it's been bitter outside. But I wait for my glowplug to do it's thing, fire up the truck, let engine oil pressure build up and drive off. No problems with the truck or the fuel..again, guess it's a "regional" thing...Hey, guess if you live in the Florida Key's you'd never have any of these conversations, huh??
Partly cloudy here right now, temp. this morning was 38 degrees, got up to a "little cool" 63 degrees. Looks like rain, guess we'll wait and see. Hope your all well and having a great day. Shun, out of all the shifts I ever worked, I like 2nd. shift least of all. Didn't get to see the wife and kids as much as one would like to, BUT, you do what you have to do to support the family and make a living. I worked 2nd. shift from 1975,(after I got out of the Air Force) until 1980. 3-11, not too bad, but again, it's the shift I like the least. Gotta let the dogs in and open the gate for the DW...catch y'all later.

Alrighty then, 3 post in a roll seems a bit vain to keep this old thread going, guess theres just not much to talk about..The weather forecast was dead on for today. It's a beautiful sunny day here and the temp right now is 72 degrees. Going to head outside and do a little yardwork, still have a pile of leaves that haven't dropped or changed colors yet..go figure...Hope all of you are feeling well and having a great day....take care.

Interesting day.
We have had cloudy/windy, cloudy/windy/snow pellets, cloudy/windy/rain, and now partly cloudy/windy/partly sunny.
We finally found a couple bookcases we liked, so got them, assembled them, and put them in the back room.
I took the garbage out, and DW excercised the horses; worked Henry on the lunge line, and rode Babe out to the road and back, then around the pasture a little.
That is the sum total of our accomplishments today.

OK, here at work and loving it....appears we've all been quite busy...been a lot of action on some other threads, hey Jon, reason and logic mean nothing on some of the threads we've been on lately.
It was a beautiful day Thursday, got up to 72 and was sunny day, suppose to be the same today, then they're calling for some rain and lows in the 50's for Saturday when the grandkids would be trying to get some candy....hopefully it'll hold off for them long enough to have some fun. Extended forecase shows sunny weather for the next week after Saturday, lows in the 40's to 50's and highs in the 60's...I'll take that for "first week in Nov. Weather".
Hope all of you had a good day and hope your all feeling well. Believe I'm going to get a cup of coffee and try to take a short break, ya'll take care and have a great day and weekend, catch ya later.

Back again! Work has been crazy. On top of that, I did 19 shifts this month which is payback for that glorious vacation I had last summer. Well, I'm not in a looney ward... yet.
Dreary here too, but sunny skies coming up. House chores continue. Need to get started on the winter bike projects. Spring, along with camping and track season will be here before you know it!

Weather change here also, been "mostly dreary" and a little windy on occasion, temp is 62 degrees. Suppose to rain tomorrow for Halloween so don't know how many children we'll see "Trick or Treating" this year. We were going to go to Sevierville for Thanksgiving, but wiht the rock slide shutting down I40, out trip went from 93 miles to about 230, so we decided to cancel Sevierville and we're going to go to West Union In SC to Crooked Creek RV park, same distance, same driving time, just in a different direction. We leave on the 21st of Nov and will be back on the 29th.
Shun, I can relate to some extent. Been working 6 day weeks for so long that when I get a Saturday off, don't know what to do with myself with all that time off I also love being off for a week to 10 day's then coming back to work..yeah, love it....
Hope all of you are well and have a great weekend, I work tonight, and have another 6 day work week slated for next week, but after that, I'll be off a couple of Saturday's. Ya'll take care, I'll drop back in later.
