Brought it to the dealer to fix a leak in the front bunk. AHHHHH!!! Hopefully found it early enough that there won't be a whole lot of additional damage found.

'sure wish my dealer was as helpful

What is the year and make of your mh? Whas it leaking through the window?

its a 2008, purchased last Oct., 4winds chateau 28A; brandy-new & "supposedly" under warranty; no noticeable leaking thru windows or running lites. almost seems as if moisture is somehow seeping up from right forward bottom of over cab bunk. if i cant get satisfaction from dealer this week, i'll rip up the bunk flooring myself to see whats going on!

Finally found the leak in my power steering. It has been a slow leak for a long time but just started leaking like a sieve. Turned out I have two leaks in the power steering line. I will go get the part tomorrow and hopefully get it installed tomorrow or Tuesday.

well, yesterday I realized that the WDH I purchased does not work with a drop-axle open race car trailer, as the shank doesn't extend low enough, and the clamps dont fit around the trailer's front frame.

So I installed my new side-step carpet pad I bought at CW.

Saturday I had frame supports welded on to better reinforce the rear frame extension, as well as beefed up the side support of my tow hitch to where it meets the frame extensions.

I then installed a new outside water spout(plastic-old one was brittle, stuck closed, and cracked)

I also repaired some of the under-carriage with a sheet of aluminum where there was damage from the previous owner's flat tire/blow out.

That's about it. OH, no wait...I also realized that I wasted $800 in tires by listening to the wrong tire experts. My dually tires rub together under load, so I have to throw them out. They have about 120 miles on them.

sad.

Filled the gray and black tanks to capacity with water and the GEO method ingrediants and drove 50 km on a variety of roads to give them a good slosh. Drained at the sani dump and back flushed. Cleaned up a few things as well getting ready for two back-to-back weekends of camping.

Off to the tire store today and got fitted with six new Michelin XPS Rib tires. Bank account took a bit of a hit.
Off tomorrow to Mosport International Raceway for weekend of beverages and greasy food and watch ALMS race, among others.

I'm embarrased to say, but today is the first day I used the "city water" mode on our coach. For the almost 3 years we've owned our coach, we've spent over 100+ nights in it. Most of those have been in RV Parks with hookups. We've always used the water pump!!! I read a "water pump" thread here on RV.net and WHAM!!! It hit me that we could stop using the water pump when hooked up to a water source.

Learn something new everyday. : )
