If you were buying a nice Class A today, which manufacturers would you speculate will be here 10 years from now? It's not a small question given the stresses the industry is under.
Of course, nobody can do more than guess, but... I'm thinking Winnebago and Forest River seem to have deep funding from what I read.
Anyone have a sense of who's got staying power?

I would guess that those who specialize in the more expensive rigs would have staying power. Some make units to the customer's specifications rather than cranking out a unit and hope that someone wants what they built.
I don't have any names at the moment.
Later: Not sure if they meet your criteria but Marathon Coach makes the high end units and I would bet at least $1 that they will be around.

From a pure financial standpoint I would bet on Tiffin. Family owned with little to no debt and it is usually the overhead from high interest financing of the business that dips into cash flow and then forces these high rolling fast growth companies to file chapter 11 or 7.

Interesting point. Have the younger Tiffins committed to take it all when the older Tiffin(s) retire to Tahiti?

Would anyone survive in 10 years?

The younger Tiffins took them to the brink of bankruptcy a few years back when Bob did retire, the 1st time. He had to return and take back control, in order to save the company. I would not bet my money on Tiffin RV being a survivor, when Bob is gone.

I think the boys learned their lesson. Tiffin has nmade a big change since Bob came back. have met them all and they are some of the most humble and real people you could ever meet.
Fleetwood has enough backing, Thor has bought the world, they may shrink up the brands, Winnebago has a lot of support industries to shore them up.

I would bet Triple E will still be here. Its a small company and has sold its entire production every year and has a great reputation. It is one of the best insulated units made and the woodwork is done by local Mennonites. It is more expensive than most though?? Eddy
