yep, I just cranked up the cover till it hit the vent cover and that worked just fine.

I have always had Max Airs on my rigs. Just mounted 3 Fan Mates on my new coach on Tuesday. Very simple job. All you need is a drill with a 3/32 bit, a pencil, a phillips head and a 7/16 wrench or socket. Only problem was that they were much more expensive than the regular Max Air cover.

This dumb country boy installed regular Max Air vent covers on my fan for under $40.00 for the pair. I don't run my fan on high. I've used them 5 years with no problem at all.
