Didn't someone here mention the "noodles" that you swim with? seems that would be a great storge place for them as well - just gotta remember to remove them before pulling the slides in!

Another rather crude way is to throw a rope over the slide cover and tie it down at each end forming a trough for the water to run out.
When the water is gone take down the rope.

We have to put up our own awning, no slides.
We put one brace at the front two inches higher than the one on the rear.
It just runs off the rear corner. Keeps it drier near the door.

I just purchased four $1.79 cheap air mattress at Walmart. Put two under each slide topper and works like a charm.

We have had three RVs with slide covers. Have hated them all and tomorrow this one is coming OFF! Free at last...from puddling water, from wind noise, rocking and from the cost of eventual replacement.

This one is two years old and very nice Sunbrella-like fabric. Have tightened it often and correctly and the dang thing still makes wind noise, sags and rocks the entire motorhome.

Yippee!

Some folks just use their Patio Awning rod tool and hook it over the little arms that extend at the ends of "Slide Out" Awnings and pull it forward to release the water without having to actually move in the slide outs. I haven't had to do that because my slides are short and don't hold water. Good Luck and Happy Travels.

I have the airwedge. Right now I have only one slide out. I keep the airwedge inflated and throw it on top of the bed in the fiver when traveling or parked at home. I use a step stool to get high enough to slide it under the awning.
