Does anyone know of a campground in the Windsor area that will be open in November for a weekend stay. I expect water will not be available but 30amp service would be nice

Judging from the forum this is posted in, I'm guessing it's Windsor Ontario. Wish I could help with suggestions, but we pretty much close up (camping) shop in October around here. Good luck!

Try "we are" just poking at your poke about the location of Windsor.

super--There are 7-8 campgrounds in the Windsor, Ontario area. They are in Belleriver,McGregor,Amherstburg,Leamington,Wheatley and 1 in Windsor. I checked them all in the Trailer Life directory and they all will be closed by Oct 31/08.

You may wish to check out the Ontario Provincial Parks in the Windsor area. Many prov parks have sites that are available year round and of those, many have electricity available. (no water or sewer hookups at Ontario provincial parks). However, you should have fresh water and a dump station at your disposal.

We've done late season camping in eastern ontario (Bon Ehco Prov park) and had a great site, hydro, washrooms with showers etc. at our disposal. It was great. Good Luck! ~ bugjr ~

How about checking Wildwood at McGregor RV & Golf Resort about 20 minutes from Windsor. I know people stay in their park models year round there. Our Camping Club uses this park in the Spring.
