SWD, Thanks for your input on Canadian Tire product quality. I wasn't aware CT had two levels of stores. Here in Ontario I have purchased many quality items from Canadian Tire. It's unfortunate people in Western Canada have to be saddled with nothing but poor quality items at CT.
Thanks for the heads up, it'll save me wasting my time at CT when traveling in Western Canada.
cheers and have a great day.
Glad I could help. CT used to be better in their quality , selection and pricing but that has changed in recent years.I do the majority of my automotive purchasing at Auto speciality stores or independant auto stores. Better selection and above all better quality. Not everything that is MADE IN CHINA is good. I f Costco carries the product that you are considering then give it a try. I have had good luck with Costco products. They seem to really want to look after the customer.

I bought two of the CT pressure monitors on sale last week for the two small cars that I have. So far I am not impressed. Thinking of taking them both back. Even at 50 bucks each, they are not a good deal.

I DISAGREE completely with this statement!!!! While these tire pressure monitors may not work on a trailer, they aren't designed to work there. HOW can you expect them to work where they aren't supposed to?
I don't know about you, but I wait with great anticipation for the Canadian Tire flyer every Friday to see what great things they have for sale this week. I even monitor it online every Friday while I'm down here in SW Florida. Can't buy anything there personally but I can get someone to buy something for me while I'm here.
Canadian Tire is a great retailer in my opinion!
