I have a 2004 Travel Supreme MH which came equipped with a 32" JVC I`Art (brand) TV - Has anyone experienced this problem - all of a sudden "no picture" but do have sound? If so, were you able to repair it or did you have to buy a new one. If it is a simple "fix" I will get repaired, if not, then I'll bite the bullet and get a new one. Thanks

Are you able to bring up any menus on the screen with the remote? If so, make sure you haven't inadvertantly accessed one of the "text" screens that make the screen all black. Go to the audio menu or CC button and push the button until you are on CC1 or "On if mute". Hope this is the problem. Good Luck.

Chuck it in the dumpster and go buy a new TV from Walmart.

My TV just did this in Dec. The electron gun burned up and its cheaper to get another Tv. I have not seen any 32"crt TV's for sale so you will most likely have to get an LCD TV that fits in the space you have.

As 1fastdad said, unfortunately, most electronics now are pretty much 'disposable' now (cheaper to replace than to fix). If you can find a place that does free estimate, it might be worth getting an estimate (could be something cheap) but chances are it's going to cost more than the replacement cost.

If you want to replace with another CRT, you probably won't find any in stores but you should be able to find a used one pretty easily (check craigslist, kijiji, classifieds, garage sales, local ebay sellers, etc). Alternatively, you could just get an LCD panel that would fit in the same spot - one benefit would be that LCDs are significantly lighter and use less power (v. good if you ever watch TV using inverter). You might also be able to find a larger screen LCD that fits where your CRT was (most LCDs have a thinner bezel (edge around the TV) than CRTs although at 32", the next size you'll probably find is 37" which might be too big).

Most likely best to upgrade since it will cost you nearly the same to fix it. Best time of the year to purchase a television is around the Super Bowl plus you'll be ready for the digital switchover here in a few weeks.

If you are hooked up to the signal source with the RCA type jacks, your video jack could have come loose. This just happened with my home TV.
