You will want to look closely at the pin weights of the 5ers. Tow weight rating is one thing. Payload capacity is another. For the same length trailer, the pin weights can vary several hundred pounds. You will want to make sure you stay within you F250's weight rating. One 34 foot 5er may be well within your F250 capacity where another 34 footer may be well over.
And you don't say whether you have a 4x4 or 4x2. If 4x4, be aware that some of the '03 and '04 F250 4x4 have a significantly reduced towing capacity for the supercab and crewcab models.
'03 Superduty towing
Read the asterisk and the fine print.

Assuming you will be within the weight limits of the truck, it will cost you the same to add stuff now or to add it later. I would wait until you get the trailer and see how much it lowers the rear of the truck. You will still be able to tow. If it doesn't look right or feel right when driving, go buy the air springs or whatever. If the trailer exceeds the weight limits, nothing you do will increase the limits of your truck.

Is it a 4x4,
is it a gasser or a diesel?
We have the 7.3 diesel, with a 4x4
and our trailer is a Keystone 291RLS.
It is like 30 ft long, and weight about 10,500 when
loaded.
I am sure we are over our pin weight, but not by much,
or at least not last time we weighed it.

We have a 2004 PSD CrewCab shortbed F250 that was "born to tow!". The 04 6.0 tows my Jayco JayFlight 5er (same as a Jayco Eagle Superlite now) at 9650 lbs like a the Budwieser team of Clydesdales! We tow up and down mountain passes here in SoCal with ease. So as said, keep an eye on the pin weight, try to buy LESS of a fiver than the max you can tow...and have fun!

The trailer you get will depend on your needs...do you have kids? Then a bunk model would be great! If it's just 2 of you, a rear living room will do it! Either the Jayco Eagle SuperLite 28.5 BunkHouse or the 25.5 RKS would be a great match! Check out an RV show or some dealers to browse thru a bunch of different manufacturers models!

A Jayco is not just an RV, it's a life choice!

Just toured the Open Range factory in Shipshewana and I think, for what it's worth, they make a very good fifth wheel and I believe it may bear looking at.
