Michael, If you haven't been to Maine before try and get Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. If you get there the Blackwoods campground in the park is beautiful. We paid too much money for a "water" site at the KOA in Bar harbor and felt cheated. We can talk at the B7 Rally and I can show you some beautiful pictures we took while in Maine.

Funny...I had a waterfront site at the KOA in Acadia and was ectstatic. It was awesomely beautiful (but very cold and windy at night...in August). It wasn't a KOA when I stayed there (about 8 or 9 years ago), but I don't know how much difference that makes...maybe it was less expensive.

The coolest thing about most of the campgrounds in Acadia is that they are visited by a free shuttle service that takes you around the park...including downtown Bar Harbor...AND DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE SHUTTLE!!!

It was over $100/night and our site overlooked marsh. On the north side of this campground the water was more visible but $20/ at Blackwoods sounds better to me. And yes, the shuttles (L.L. Bean sponsored) are super.

We will have a 50 Van limit for B7. We will establish the procedure if a waiting list is necessary. Check here and on the www.b-rally.org site.

We are anticipating a huge sign up this year and are going to limit the number of Vans to 50 (under 100 campers). More than this would be a bit uncomfortable and take away from our goal of providing an enjoyable experience for all.

So...... If you register for B7 I am asking you to send in your registration fee to me by January 15th. If we do not receive the fee we will go to the attendee list and invite those on our waiting list to attend.

When Patti Campbell at "The Villages" starts taking reservations on February 1st you can request a site or she will assign one for you. If you wish to request a certain neighbor she will do her best to accommodate you. We encourage campers to meet new folks and make new friends which happened to Terry and I at B6.

Looking forward to meeting many new "B" folks in May.

The list of sponsors has been started on the b-rally.org web site. Click on the "Sponsors" link to see the list.

Thanks to Nick (charles) and Jim (Jim&Carolyn) for all of their efforts in securing sponsors and donations for this and the previous two rallies.

More sponsors will be added as commitments are finalized.

As always, we ask that you support the rally sponsors whenever possible.

Well it certainly sounds like this is shaping up to be another excellent rally. Nan and I are both from the Syracuse area and were very excited about the rally. Unfortunately it conflicts with our school schedule yet again and we will be unable to attend.

The RV Park map has been made a little more accessible on b-rally.org by putting it on the Campground button page and the number of Bs/state information has been added to the Attendees page with the map at the bottom.

Lots of good news to report about B7. 40 Vans have registered and sponsors have begun to come on board Sportsmobile will again be supplying lots of firewood and ice for our sodas. We will have both Coke and Pepsi products to accommodate all tastes. The pavilion at "The Villages" has a beautiful fire place in the center so will have lots of time to sit around the fire and meet old and new friends.

We are looking for someone to organize a "Make your own Sundae" event. A NY dairy company will be providing lots of ice cream.

Go to www.b-rally.org and see the list of attendees. We have folks coming from Florida, Texas and as far away as Hawaii. For the first time since B4 we have folks from Pennsylvania registered for B7. If you haven't signed up yet please go to www.b-rally.org and register. Looking forward to seeing everyone in May.

The sponsors for B-7 are starting to sign on. We have already received commitments from four Class B manufacturers and several retailers. Bruce is hoping to have an even larger Class B RV show at the rally this year. Check out our sponsor tab at www.b-rally.org to see who is on board to date, also the program tab to see the events that have already been sponsored.

See you at The Villages at Turning Stone in May.
