My soldier!

This is Aaron's "official" Basic Training pic and was taken shortly after arriving at Ft. Leonard Wood. This doesn't show his weight loss (he was at 250 in March/April and is now down to 210!)

Hi All-
Just back from a nice albeit cooler weekend at Willow Mill outside Rio. I hadn't camped there in a number of years. Pretty decent. We backed up to a group of seasonals, not bad other than Saturday night when one of them kept turning on his 8 gazillion gigawatt flood light to get stuff out of his utility building. It was quiet at night, nice fireworks display.
I did want to give an update on Wagon Trail campground. I found it interesting that their version of the 'desirable' sites were all gravel pads - no grass, just gravel covering the whole site. Hmmmm. Nice place otherwise, other then being read the miranda rights when you check in.
Also finding the F-150 a much much better puller than the Explorer was (big surprise)!
Julie - nice pict of Aaron.

Great picture of Aaron!

Hello from Jackson Mississippi! Going to be in New Orleans today. Elvis is not alive. We toured Graceland Tuesday very interesting place to see. The coach bus seats are not very comfortable. Well better go & get ready or else the bus will leave without me.

OCTOBER I'd be swinging on a short rope from a tall tree if I had to wait that long to go camping
