Bill/Diana...Good to hear from you. Sorry bout the accident but glad everyone's okay. Come up anyway!

Farmer Brown...

Can't wait to see everyone. Hitting the road at 3:00 p.m. Hoping for little to no traffic. Hope is not a strategy, but in this situation, it's all we have.

On September 4th we started an 18 day trip at Pine Cove Beach & RV Resort, then on to Stonewall Jackson Resort, then Friendship Village Campground and then a final stop at County Haven Campground. When we reached Country Haven Campground we had plans to make reservations at Turning Stone CG and surprise some of you.

Buuuuttttt....on the second leg of this journey a car decided they wanted to be in the same lane with us on I68 near Cumberland, MD. Fortunately no one was injured but 2 cars were totaled and our MH has about $2K in damages. We were able to continue with our trip...just shook us up pretty good. I use Delorme GPS software on my notebook PC so the entire accident was logged.

So, does not look like we will be surprising you guys but hope to be able to join the group again sometime in the future. By the way, all the CG's listed above are excellent. We had tried to get reservations at Stonewall Jackson for the past 3 years and finally had success this year.

Have a great time in Turning Stone !!!

I was just thinking about you guys today - and here you are!

Come on up to TS and we'll check the MH damage. Maybe a trip to our garage can save a few $$$. I have NO IDEA when I could get to it, but it makes a great excuse to make the journey.

As for the stones, this is my second bout, the first being 23 years ago at the ripe old age of 21. I believe I still have it but haven't had any symptoms or pain in almost 2 weeks now.

Unfortunately....he spoke too soon! He has suffered last night. Finally sleeping now. At least he is getting some rest now!!!

sigh...

Bruce...no!!!

We're hitting the road at 3:00. We'll see how the Queens/Bronx traffic treats us. Usually, once we hit the Tap, we're home free. (Notice I said "Usually".)

Jim, the advice was for Bruce to drink water, not you!!!

We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history.........
