Pops, 2 labs is not too much!! Have had 2 labs and a pointer mix with some lab in him. Labs bring a lot of hair and even more personality of love. Calvin looks great and should look big enough to be a deterrent of some kind. He has a beautiful smile that Harlee I am sure likes. Best of luck in this process. Keep the story coming!

Well, I'm not an authority...BUT I have seen kids and adults ripped to shreds by "Gangsta Pits" used as status symbols by lowlife owners.
THIS is the term I'm going to use from now on when describing the bad side of pitbulls!!! "Pitbulls" can be the loveable family dogs - "Gangsta Pits" are the ones to avoid.

Lance, you have shore power at the job site, right? Look on the web for an air cleaner with a removable (washable) filter. You will be amazed how much pet hair that thing sucks up. Not all of it, to be sure, but the little stuff you see flying around in a beam of sunlight. It will all work out, though Harlee may question for awhile exactly why she needed a brother.

Thanks Judy, good idea! I think Sharper Image has a great unit listed in their catalogue.

Pops just got off the phone with Karen at the NDSDF and they’ve scheduled a home visit for next week Tuesday afternoon.
So, for all Those who’s following this thread with Inquisitive Minds..….for the Series of ………“A Clan’s Quest”……There are Questions still to be answered…….As the Theme Song fades in Louder………;
* Will Karen be receptive to our living arrangement or decide against it????
* Will I become jealous of Pops Attention and change my mind????
* Will Ellen change Her mind, since the strawberries I bought her wasn’t sweet enough????
* Or Will Pops have second thoughts, after dreaming that He was Drowning Under a Sea of Fur????????
These Questions and More, to be Answered on the Continuing Saga of……….”A Clan’s Quest”……..Theme Song fading into the back ground……OK, Cut, that’s a Take!
Have a Great 4th of July Holiday Week End!

Oh, oh, I see a mini-series in development! To your advantage, the Foundation has looked for just the right home for Calvin since 2007 and I doubt they are going to find better. He doesn't like cats and kids and most dogs so since you and Harlee apparently met his criteria, I think you're good! It's hard not to get your heart set on it, though, I remember.

Yeah, except I hope this series does not have a secound season (in regards to the adoption process)!!!
Calvin will be fine. However, Ellen and I did discuss the fact that Calvin must be made aware from the get go. That there is only one Pops in our Clan. I think I have a harder head then he does...LOL
I'm confident that he will make a great partner and Harlee can just enjoy life as will Calvin!!! He needs a job to keep him focused!

Thanks, it’s too bad Cesar wouldn't do a segment about this. If at the least to give a plug in for the great work that the NDSDF is doing for this Country.
They'll have to get a stand in for me though, since I’m sure they don’t want to break any cameras…LOL
Pops
I wouldn't worry about breaking the cameras, everyone knows the dog always steals the scenes. Check out this commercial with talking dogs, Oh and the girl in it is my daughter.

Great commercial, I wonder how they do that with the dogs?
