You may be looking for Trik-L-Start. (click here for link)

Monaco is not belly up anymore. Navistar bought them for the price equal to about 100 Monaco motorhomes.

google "Trik-L-Start". I bought one 2 years ago. $48 includes s&h. Works great...no more "dead" (in need of a jump) 12V chassis battery.

Just a question – saw a simpler solution, maybe -- http://www.blackanddecker.com/ProductGuide/Product-Details.aspx?ProductID=15572 --would this work using the 110 plug in and the 12V engine Battery plug.

In my coach the two systems are separate and this would work – allowing me to just plug it in – no permanent wiring required.

Just asking the experts,

TIA,

PS $19,99

LOSTONE65: Going for the Trik-L-Start? Good choice, as I'm a satisfied customer. With the installation instuctions, they prefer you hook it up to the battery isolater...whatever.

I found that impractical....so I just went into the battery compartment itself, screwed the (small) control box into the wall and out of the way...and hooked up the wires to the batteries themselves. IF...I remember correctly, doing the hookup this way, I had to change (or remove) a connector on one of the wires. No biggie, tho....
