Can you mount it to the toung of the trailer? That would give you a little better weight distribution.

thanks for all the answers and the genny will ride in the truck not on the bumper.
after having
a close look at the bumper i wouldn't mount anything on it.
not near strong enough.

Its not that big of a deal to weld a platform to the frame and move the spare to under the trailer between the frame rails to gain a little extra capacity.
