DW and I full time and use the Sprint AirCard. So far (refer to the "camped in" map of our travels) the cell service has been great and the wireless internet has been available everywhere AND is much faster than a dial up. Also DW is on the internet while travelling down the road just emailing or looking for the next campground or whatever.

One other thing... IMPORTANT.... In your post your said you put $$$$ into CD's IF NEEDED. Well hell... if you DON'T NEED IT... send it my way!

Enjoy....we'll see ya........................

We had State Farm for over 20 years before we sold our house. Please, please obtain RV insurance from an agent who specializes in dealing with this - other folks have mentioned Progressive and National Interstate. Our home state is SD and our broker helped us with all of the details and they were very different than homeowners and car insurance. I worked in the legal field for over 30 years and any insurance company that does not have a specialty for RV insurance will be difficult to deal with (square peg in round hole) should you have a problem. Good luck.
