Go figure. One month after my warranty expired, I found a problem with my seal on my slide. When I slide in the slide, the black seal around the slide looks like there is alot of pull for it to go inside. Today, I had to hold it in place as my wife slide the slide in. It looks okay when coming out but when it goes in, there an area that the slide seal seems like its being pulled in. Any help suggestions.

You might try contacting Fleetwood but considering the current sitution it may not do much good. You could try one of their dealers to see if they have parts to help you. Highways or Trailer Life Action Line may be able to help.
one of thes may have the part you need.

As long as the slideout seals prevent the intrusion, there's no problem. Spray a hose on it when opened and when closed. If no water, no problem. If it bugs you, spray some 303 Aerospace on the seals, it does not contain petroleum distillates, so it's safe for the seals, prevents UV damage and "slicks it up" a bit, which may help. Enjoy your RV!

Winnebago fixed a couple things on our coach 4 months after the warranty expired... you really should check to see if they'll work with you. Good luck!

I believe you are talking about the wiper not the seal. The wiper is designed to clean the slide as it retracts. The actual seal is further in and doesn't flip over. I often have to use my awning release rod to flip the wiper after extension but I do it so it looks better, it has no effect on the sealing.

lippert only manufactures the slide mechanism and trailer frame. they have nothing to do with the actual construction and/or seals. that is a manufacturer item.

Agree, doesn't sound like the slide seal. OP, can you please post a picture so we can see the issue?
