Alright folks, need some help.

Planning a trip to Washington State 3rd week of Sept. Looking for a nice RV campground with full hook-ups near Mt. St Helen's (would like to visit the visitors' center and other points of interest). Last week we'll move up to Seattle and need RV site information for this area.

We're towing a WW FSC2800

Any help would be appreciated.

Silver Cove RV Resort is good for visiting Mt St Helens.
We stayed there in 2008 & would select it again.

Might consider either Olympia Campground or American Heritage Campground..both in Olympia...about half way between both Mt. St. Helens and Seattle.
You could make this your home base and day trip it to either.

Check them out Here.

Have a good trip.

Seaquest state park in Castle Rock for MSH. Lake Plesant in Bothel or Dash Point State Park for Seattle. Trailers Inn is a parking lot rv park but close to Seattle. KOA in Kent but very pricy and very tight sites, our front step was over the next sites sewer no way to putout awning, nice pool.

We just came back from a few days at Seaquest State Park, just across the street from the MSH visitor's center and 5 miles east of I-5. The "must see" visitor's center at Johnston Ridge is 42 miles from the park.

The "T-" sites are almost like a parking lot with very little space or privacy.

Site #15 (NOT "T-15") was nice with water & electric:

The park is older and a little tight, but we did fine. It's not perfect, but we had a great time there.

Other than the volcano, there's not much to do. Our little kids love to ride bikes. The nearby town of Castle Rock has a nice, flat 1.5 mile paved bike trail along the river that goes from a small roadside park into "downtown". Plenty of volcanic ash piled high along the river there; bring your own vial

I would Second Silver Cove, it is right on the road up to Mt. St Helens, 9 miles off the I-5 corridor. Make sure you don't confuse it with Silver Lake RV Park.

We stayed at Harmony Lakeside last year. Nice place - convenient for visiting St. Helens.

Hap - are you going to visit the Volcanic Monument from the north or west side?

If doing the north side from Hwy 12/SR131 consider Maple Grove RV in Randle, WA but might call for reservations first. This place has been well run over the years I have been riding the area- about 1991. If bringing dirt bikes there is some high quality single track in the area!

In the Seattle area, I would highly recommend Lake Pleasant in Bothell, WA. It's about 20 minutes North of Seattle. Here's a recent thread:
