Black Rock is a nice park, but nearly impossible to get into with much of a camper. Very narrow, steep, nearly treacherous roads into the camp ground. Limit of tents, popups, and small camper trailers. But, a nice place to see.

Black Rock Mountain State Park is a wonderful place to spend some time - highest elevation of any state park in GA. Scenery is beautiful and temperature usually very comfortable in August/Sept. We don't find the road up to the park that bad - we have a 30' class A. One of our favorites.

If you have a larger rig, try Moccasin Creek SP, or Unicoi SP. The road up to Black Rock Mountain is very steep and winding. If you want to camp on top of a mountain, try Fort Mountain farther west in GA, near Cartersville.

Just went to Black Rock Moutain State park. This is a great park and is the highest point in Georgia. The roads are a steep and a little narrowm, but are manageable. The sites are wide and secluded. It's a great place to have a fire 12 months a year.

Not sure if this would be a problem for you or not, but their web site states limits of 25 ft. RV campers. GA has some nice state parks.

Close but no cigar as to the elevation.
Brasstown Bald, just south of Young Harris, is the highest point in Georgia @ 4784'
Black Rock Mountain overlook is a little shorter.
I do agree the roads could be tough for any length trailer. The park has an unenforced 25' limit

Stay someplace else then drive up for the view. Not for towing up, certainly not for MH and such sized vehicles.
