somebody recently asked about the weather in Rapid City and I can't find that thread now so will post here.
My friend that lives there said that they just had their third blizzard of the last 2 weeks.

That had to be some pretty wet snow. I live just west of the Black Hills, and it's been hot, hot, hot. Cooling off finally. High of 69 today and forecasting 65 tomorrow, then back into the 80s.

well I heard back from the guy and he had no idea what I was talking about. So I guess somebody, someplace had three blizzards lately.

Ahhhhhhh, but you mean April of '84 (Apr 25-27). I missed it! I flew out just ahead of it in my plane for its annual inspection just outside of Wichita, KS. My wife called to ask me if they should close down our store for the storm. I scoffed at the idea but told her to use her judgement. Then I turned on the radio and heard about the giant storm in Wyoming.
My wife almost got home but had to walk the final block. The car didn't get dug out for three days. A week later the snow was all gone.
