The RVP thermostat that controls the front A/C and heater seems to have a mind of it own. It will cycle the temp. set point back to 00 degrees, and sometimes comes on even though it is not asking for heat or A/C. Is this a common problem or do I just replace. Is their a upgrade?

I have the same thermostat on my Greyhawk. Ours usually reset back to the factory default of 72 degrees, sometimes it didn't come back on at all! On one trip it stayed off all night and it was 50 degrees in the coach...Brrrr!!!

After almost 2 years, I think we finally figured it out. It was a loose wire behind the breaker panel. It has worked flawlessly for the past 6 months, (fingers crossed).

Our's is only a year old but my only problem has been the location that JAYCO selected for the front unit.. If it's extremely hot and both are running the cooler air from the bedroom shuts down the front a/c prematurely. If it's setting back to OO sounds like it has seen it's demise.

Have three friends with SENECA's 06 and 07's and they haven't had a problem

the heater thermostat on my 08 Seneca is way too sensitive. I want to change it but do not know what brand will work.

Any programable thermostat that is battery operated not battery back up will work. Battery operated will work on 12 volt dc. Battery back up use the 24 volt AC from the unit to work. RV's don't have 24 volt.
