Does anyone know if the surplus store in Forrest City Iowa is still there and open?
I cannot remember the name of the place.
They carried a lot of Winnebago parts.
Thanks,
Shirley

maybe if I provide more information someone can help us?
This store is like a Winnebago/RV outlet or surplus store. It is not far from the Winnebago Factory in Forrest City. Maybe 1/2 mile if I remember correctly and it would be on the opposite side of the road about 1/2 block off the main road.
They had about everything in the store to build an RV from the ground up or so it seemed.
Help!!
Does anyone know the name of this store? or if it is still open?? We haven't been there for 2 or 3 years and we are thinking about heading that way but hate to make the trip if it is not there anymore.

No that is not it. It was more like a warehouse building and you just wandered around looking in boxes and on shelves to see what you could find.
When you first entered the store you would see household stuff and furniture but when you went to the back it was like I described above. They even had all kinds of RV furniture, light fixtures and just about anything you could imagine for an RV.

I had read a previous post that the surplus store had closed about a year or two ago. Call Winnebago customer service to verify.
